• what was in the moose milk Len? did you ever share your recipe?

Is it this??

1.14 litre dark rum
1.14 litre Kahlua
1.14 litre vodka
4 litres of vanilla soft scoop ice cream
4 litres of partly skimmed milk (have to be health conscience)

Mix gently until frothy with still a few ice cream lumps. Liberally sprinkle nutmeg over top. Enjoy and give vehicle keys to a party staying sober.

(loving the health and safety message in the last line! :rotfl: )

• do you bottle it all in one go? Or make it in batches - I was thinking about the melted icecream going off?

I was just reading elsewhere (I admit - I strayed outside MSE!) about joke possibilities for the X-Factor 2009 Winners song and this was suggested. I thought when I started to listen........well, ok.......don't know it......quite nice....not hugely my thing, but it's quite 'listenable'....soft rock ballad kind of love song lyrics maybe to come?? Then.......... _pale_ ...........

Christmas for me starts with the village carol service, we don't have a church in our wee village but we are part of the local parish and the minister woman does a service at village hall... it was early this year, 7th Dec, but it signifies the start of christmas for me n erin and has turned into a bit of a tradition with us, it gets a poor turnout to be honest but we like it... this generally involves the first mince pie too with cuppa after so if you were in any doubt then Christmas is a go go then! mince pies mean serious Christmassy!!!

For some reason nothing says Xmas to me like Taboo  I don't know why because it's not particularly festive!

Finally managed to speak to D (boyfriend.....better not plaster his name all over the internet just yet, although anyone on Facebook has probably already encountered him posting smut on my profile lol). He put his son on the phone to say hi too - feel sort of touched by that. :)

Oh BB - he's not in the park today, but if you nip down to Bournemouth seafront quick, he's parked up by all the diggers, because they've just been building sandcastles on the beach! :A
