Carmarthen is still mainly 50% off. Still a good selection of CD's, DVDs and games left. Even a couple of Wii games left. I didn't buy myself anything!
I bought Chocolate on DVD (from the makers of ONG BAK) for the OH and Cecelia Ahern's The Gift (book) for his sister.0 -
Bracknell store had received from stock today (apparently from other stores that have closed already). Mostly CDs and DVDs - but I was able to get some bargains. Audiobooks - CD versions (which are usually fairly expensive) were going through at 25p.0

Went in to the Wakefield store today, signs say up to 70% off, only things that are 70% off are cards, rest of the stock is 50% off, got told they close on saturday, going to go back then. Hardly any pick a mix left and this was half price.Married 09/09/090

Aye - my Dad used to be a manager for Woolworths (he left the group in 1992 after 20 odd years there). He was moved in to sort out failing stores, and then moved on to the next place so we moved around a lot when I was growing up - once every 3-4 years. Growing up as a semi-nomad wasn't easy, and I guess I have issues relating to that! It almost feels like someone I know has died, without me getting to tell them what they did to me!!!April Grocery Challenge £81/£1200 -

Newtown store is now closing 6th instead of 5th. Member of staff told me when I was in there yesterday. Not much left now.0

King's Lynn has 4 days remaining and everything is now at least 50% off with some stuff more. Only half the store open though. Shame, it's only 2 years old and was really modern.0
