  • To add to OH sorting day - he has decided that we spend too much money on our phone/broadband with BT and negotiated a lower package or we'd leave type situation..... very DFW style without even knowing it.....woo hoo :j Good lad :T

Seems my ways are slightly rubbing off on him, he even transferred £500 into our joint savings account (house deposit fund) this weekend too - not bad eh :D

yay that OH is moving forward even if OH doesn't realise he's done it. Isn't that always the way we have to work with our OH's???? lol

Want a giggle.....OH is busy doing his annual sort out/list of things-to-do and he is stressed out just by booking an MOT, date to get chip in windscreen sorted and because he can't get through to vodafone and keeps speaking to answer machine or automated messages he is stressed......welcome to my world darling;) At last he doesn't have £50K + of debt to contend with, numerous creditors letters and oh, every day life eh

LOL :rotfl: - that really made my smile!
    Keep up the good work

    Afternoon,

What a lovely sunny start to March :D

Well a fresh new month so a fresh new start to everything. So far today I have blitzed the bedroom and ensuite...it's sparkling and completely junk free. Lots of stuff for charity :j

Very healthy day so far too, home made granola and yogurt for breakfast, lunch wholegrain bread and scrambled egg. Probably pasta dish for dinner with OH. No too bad eh.

Primula - still don't think he has gotten over the stress of doing things

I've transferred £0.64 to online savings account, going to transfer little bits throughout the month of March. Odd pennies in bank account and see how much I can build up through doing this. Expensive month ahead mothers day, sisters bday, dads bday and OH bday and friend bday too  Been good though, already been out and brought the bday cards so now just for the gifts - have managed to save/sort for a hotel with OH for his bday lovely grounds, spa etc for us both to chill out. £135 for both of us. Not so dfw but I put a bit away each month and now have it and it's a mini break for me too ;) .

Think i've yapped enough now, have a good day all xx

blimy you put me to shame, i've looked at the flat and thought i need to tackle it but it's not got much further than that, i have put away the laundry though and done the kitchen.
I've been baking today whilst OH has been building a wall outside.

Congrats with your scratchcard winnings. Do you just do the "freebies" or do you buy ones too?
You very organised with your housework too, I need to get stuck into mine tonight - planned to do it last night................and the night before! LOL.

Gosh didn't realise how long ago I last posted, life just get's in the way! Been tad busy with work (time of year) and had the lovely 2hr commutes to work (London) lots this month - costs more money and makes me tired and grumpy

Have a lovely 5am rise again tomorrow and the hustle and bustle. So glad I don't have to do it every day now and this month is just a busy month.

So, not doing too bad this month.....still have money in my account and I get paid on Friday :D That's a first for me, although I still have a long way to go in learning to change things as still managed to take OH out for lunch today which really wasn't necessary as one we have food in flat, two its his bday next week so will be taking him out then and three I need to save money not spend it  So, I still think I have a long way to go in working out my relationship with money :o

Primula - hope you are well. I only do the free ones and just luckily had a couple of big wins in a row. One being £5 recently. Back down to around the £2 mark on them at the moment so a bit of a way to go, it's surprising how they build up though.

Anyhow, i'm off to sort my lunch, iron clothes and then get me an early night for my lovely 5 o'clock rise......is that even a real time of day!?!
