    I'm in Blackpool basher.
Unfortunately the other owners are right you're being under 30 means that their premiums would be sky high to add you.
I hope you get a replacement vehicle tomorrow..that's what we got as her insurance rang me and admitted liability straight awayso it def wasn't our fault. She didn't stop at a junction..hit our car side on,spun it around ,shove it up a pavement and into a house wall!!!...10 month old Vectra wrote off..I was not a happy bunny...and I can feel your stress as I could've literally killed her at the time...my husband had to stop me from going to her house to sort her out.I was livid.
I swore that I'd never be in the position again where I didn't have any emergency money in the bank.

Thanks...I like to try and help other self emolyed people as alot of our problems are different to waged workers.
Good for you going to Asda.
  • have you looked at the interest on the debt yet , have a looksee on the guide to give you an idea , simple terms are you get another card with 0% interest for say 15 months , you then pay the same amount you would normally and the dept will shrink before your eyes as every penny comes straight off the dept and not get eaten in interest , you could also ask for a higher credit card limit and also pay off other debts but do make sure you dont get stung with a early pay off clause , if you do that this route ( and its very good advice ) then pay it by direct debt as to miss a single payment means you will start paying interest yet again

if i were you id stop the pet insurance if you have never claimed or dont have reason to claim in the next 12 months , id also eat as cheap as poss , lose the sat and take up exercise for something to do ( for the next 12 months that is ) , id also review every expenditure to see if theres a better deal elsewhere be it insurance to elec and gas etc
  • the woman who hit mit said it was my fault tho so its not as clear cut dont see how it can be my fault when i have gone thro a green light into a clear road but my ins have said everything i have said it is her fault only prob bin now is she has gone on a two wk hol while i stew here so theres no way my ins can discuss liability till she returns but i only get a car for a non fault accident but if she argues what happens then!!!! my broker said today that if you have a good strong case which i think i have i wll get a car so fingers are crossed and ma toes lol!!!!

Your broker should see you right.I always use a broker. It can only be her fault if you went through on the green. My insurance is the same replacement vehicle for non fault accidents.Never scrimp on taxi insurance alaways get fully comp.I also take the legal policy at about £19 as well.Got everything crossed for you as well.
Need to love and leave you in abit as need to go to bed as at hospital tomorrow.

  • Hey Basher! I'm sure you will be in good hands with these kind people! Just follow their advice and you can't go wrong!

My only bit of advice is a spending diary, it's helped me loads this past week, it's really made me think about the odd £5 spent on greggs, or the £10 spent on a takeaway... it all mounts up, and if you keep track of what youve spent and how much per day, and what on... youll know where your extra cash is going!

chin up sweety, your debts will be cleared soon xx
