The domain whois matches the companies house records,

    DIRECT FINANCEUK LIMITED

But... I'd steer clear of someone using a yahoo email address. Just not very professional.

Clearly a broker, question is, do they charge up front and how much!!!? Steer clear if so.

    hi there
my friend and i have just been employed by a sister company which is run by the same person who owns direct finance and we have would like to know more of what you know before we make big mistake by staying with company. So far we have not been impressed with management and were afraid that we have been made false promises by the company and they will not deliver.
So if you dont mind please could you tell us more about your experience with them so we have the bigger picture as our training has not been that informative and after reading what you have put on this we feel that our gut instints are right about what this company and what they are all about

If your thinking about leaving, how about a loan, mislay the paperwork.

Sod staying and working for a company that might be involved in ripping people off and knowing about it.
  • Hmmm, I get the feeling this thread could be potentially libellous. I'd advise caution - perhaps people should use their PM facility.

Just to confirm, I've no vested interest at all in this and have no additional information to add about the company or the individual being named. I just think that people need to be careful that's all.

Just had a phone call from this lot - they have my details but no money. No offers of loans yet, they are going to ring me back. If they ask for an upfront payment then it will be good-bye.

Oh, and when I say details, no bank account details or anything like that.

This lot have got back to me and 'offered' a loan. They have asked for about £50. I explained I was very reluctant to part with money due to dealings with another company. The DF woman explained that they sounded like brokers (which is true) and that they are not brokers. I asked how guarenteed the loan was and she said as long as my details on the paperwork matched the details I gave over the phone, I ould get the loan. I asked her to call back later. My instinct is that I should not touch it with a barge pole but was wondering what you lot think.
