Hi another tip for today when eating always put down your knife & fork on the table and chew your food , then pick it back up and carry on .
This tells your brain your full quicker and also gives you time to enjoy your food & digest it.
We all tend to rush our food , we cut it up ready on a fork to go in while were still chewing our food and then half an hour later were hungry again .0 -

anyway, to recap as i have been posting on another thread but people seem to be here more..
started at new year, up until this morning had lost 1stone 10lbs..
recap over.
it is actually my birthday tomorrow also, seems to be a popular day. I weighed myself this morning and have put on 2lbs, was really disapointed as its my first set back but i understand why as i have had a bad weekend due to birthday celebrations. I ate out 3 times, heavily drank for 3 nights so asked for it..
my parents visit for weekend this weekend so think it will be another bad week. just hope i dont put too much on. My wife is cooking me a 3 course slimming world meal tomorrow as i dont really want to go out as i know we will eat out alot at the weekend..
although i knew id put on weight this week, it has really knocked me and brought me down. just seems like if i just have 3 bad days,im gonna put weight on, so how will i keep to this. as soon as i stop or even start eating certain things again, its just gonna come straight back on..that thought has really got to me..
anyway, hoping il be happier tomorrow since its the bday, but not feeling too chirpy right now..Weight at 1st Jan 2009 = 17st 9lbs!! :shocked:Total lost to date = 1st 11lbs :jCurrent Weight = 15st 12lbs...Total debt at 1st Jan 2009 = £17,000Current debt = £9,000 :T0 -

Please don't get down about again after a good weekend - in many ways, it is oK, can you imagine how hard the diet would be to stick to if you had 3 meals out, and three drinking sessions, and lost weight!??:eek:
We are all allowed to have good weeks and bad weeks - that's the reality of real life - if you know this week is going to be tough, perhaps make yourself a promise - 'this week I will not put on more than 2lb' - its a bit like flexible syns, you know you may have two nights out and that you can 'let your hair down' for them, but the rest of the time you can stay in control.
I hope you have a fab day tomorrow :beer: and find that you can get back onto the plan and back on track the day after... you have had a phenomenal weight loss so far, this little blip is only that, a little blip.:cool:0 -

Spat I agree with Angie...life gets in the way some days...but it doesn't mean you need to eat badly the other days...so damage limitation is in order I think.If you don't have syns and save them up and eat loads of frre foods all the rest of the week you may lose or maintain.0 -

Chicken Dhansak=6.5 syns
1/2 Chapati= 3.75 syns

I lost 2lbs I lost 2lbs I lost 2 lbs I lost 2lbs I lost 2lbs - I don't bloody believe it! I feel like crying! How did I do that? Now was it coming off the pill or the red days! Heck I'm going to do most red days this week! I don't care how much I spend (ok I do!) but its got to be good!
Judds I did think about booking it off but decided to save it for a week in Cornwall in April! Doesn't feel like my birthday yet thoughI have a princess helium balloon and two little pressies from my Mum & Dad to open but the rest has been money so not quite the same!
