I think with weight as someone once told me is 'if you concentrate on losing weight you wont lose it' you need to visualise yourself at your ideal weight whatever that is. We all need to find a weight that WE are comfortable with what should it matter to anyone else ( i know I know)

    you will not
understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded.
But trust me, in 20 years you’ll look back at photos of yourself and
recall in a way you can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before
you and how fabulous you really looked….You’re not as fat as you
    imagine.

    Hello :)

Long time no chat... those of you who remember me!

Thought I'd drop in and say hello. All this talk of self esteem is really striking a chord with the way I'm feeling at the moment. No helpful insights I'm afraid, just hello :hello: and hope you're all ok :)

    Kath x

Nice to see you Kath, long time no chat indeed :D

Where've you been, what have you been up to?
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

I met someone the other day and we were on holiday together about 20 years ago, she was saying she'd recently found some photos and thought how good she'd looked (2 stone lighter than now) but how big she thought she was at the time. I think we are all far too hard on ourselves and always judge ourselves against the youngest, slimmest person in the room not the norm.
