    Hi Fay

I cant offer much help with regards to how/who to contact im sorry. I would recommend that you could have a flick through the yellow pages for a french polisher. It might cost you £30-40 but if your like me those kind blemishes bother me. Good luck

    Merry Christmas

Edit: Im sorry totally didnt see the second page and Vivatifosi's response.

Looks like d.edna is the latest troll to have been banned - well done to MSE.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who found his/her posts to be offensive, inflammatory and deliberately misleading towards people (often newbies) with perfectly fair and valid complaints.

I hope you get something sorted - and I'll be watching this thread carefully as I have a mug/coaster set from Asda of The Simpsons for my brother.

If they are manufactured in China, then the importer is responsible under the Sale & Supply of Goods Act.

i had a similar issue with a set of Creative speakers
one left a mark on a table
    contacted Creative
the collected the speakers and gave me a top of the range set of speakers(£500+ at the time) speaker stands(£100+) and a relativly small cash amount
the speakers were bought as part of a PC package but Creative were happy to deal direct
so dont be put off Fay,never hurts to chase it up

Couldnt agree more. Was an expert in only trolling and useless remarks. Found nearly all of her/his comments rude and unnessecary. No doubt will be back on here with a mult sooner or later.

I did hope that d.edna would turn it around - every now and again he would post something useful. Sometimes that urge to sleep under a bridge must just get too strong...

Not correct. The first importer into the EU could be liable under the Consumer Protection Act 1987 if they are not manufactured within the EU.

Oh, and not wishing to be picky (honestly) there is no Sale & Supply of Goods Act. I think you may mean the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 which isn't relevant as it would, in any event, be a sale of goods transaction.
  • I saw simpsons sets with mug/keyring/coaster in Boots, thats possibly where it came from if that is any help to you?
