Morning All
I sort of ended up losing yesterday afternoon and evening which I couldn't really afford to do!
Went to Home Bargains and Mr Ts then called at my parents' house to take some blackberries out of my freezer. Some relatives were there who we won't see over Christmas so ended up staying there for tea, came home, put the kids to bed, went really tired, though I'll just sit down for 5 mins and then I'll get on, fell asleep for an hour, woke up, changed washing over and went to bed!
I'll go and and a list for today now.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Well that didn't work - DD followed me up and wanted me to help her with her bedroom - so I've started her off and then come back downstairs.
I'm talking to myself here aren't I? I'm sure a few of you will be up soon.
I think I'll do a HHC by myself!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

pretz - do you actually sleep?! We're used to Julie being up at the crack of dawn, but we know she usually goes to be before the rest of us stop gossiping! Make sure you get some rest today, otherwise you'll be the one face down, fast asleep in your Christmas dinner;)
julie - I'm sure you'll be fine... you always get loads done in the mornings, so you'll have things back under control in no time
lil_me - hope today goes OK, and the logistics aren't too stressful.
soappie - your fridge-buying exploits proved what I thought... you're organised and decisive. And judging by the number of people you've impressed with your decisiveness, it's a rare quality!
Right... off to update the last two of my team's end of year reviews so that HR have their grades for year end. I did mine, sent it to my boss, and he called me to say we had to discuss it on Monday ... they're all due today, so he's used my grandfather's death as a justification for HR ... primarily because (I think), he made some comments about my disorganised approach to work and its possible impact on the team, and I've made a comment back about my management style being effective, appropriate to the role, the need to be reactive and the team (which I have carefully picked to be able to cope:rotfl: ) - and that while it may not be understood by traditionalists in the directorate, I get stuff done... (I did also say that I'd taken the comments on board and recruited some organised people!)
Although he's fine with that, he's concerned that HR will think we disagree, so we've got to talk through a few bits and make sure its clear that its not a problem...
Must wrap presents today, otherwise no flying. Am going to visit a friend at 11ish (early lunch break), as she's had her swimming pool refurbished and it needs using

Morning
Well my cunning plan did not come together in any way, shape or form. Which is thoroughly my fault cos I ended up being a lazy so and so yesterday. But hey I did need the rest.
DH and DS successfully put the desk together. Took 4 hours in the end. But they were both chuffed to pieces that they had achieved it. It looks good to. Have to say I am quietly impressed.
Off to find a list to do. Only got a couple of hours before we go to collect DD. It's her birthday and I'm probably as excited as she is:D
