    1. Prepare veg for christmas dinner .. store covered in cold water overnight, it will be fine!
    2. PRESENTS .. nuff said! (stockings with a few bits of fruit and a cereal bar make for a healthy breakfast!)
    3. Wash pots before bed!
    4. Bath time to wear everyone out.. ;)
    5. S&S the kitchen
    6. S&S the bathroom
    7. Get the roll of binbags at the ready
    8. set up the video & camera!!! Fully charged and ready to roll!!
    9. Quick whizz over the clutter and carpets..
    10. Relax, enjoy yourselves and have a lovely time with your family!!
    11. If it isn't done now you don't need it to be done it isn't important!

    hoover through
    make beds

    Go and get the pressies stored at OH's :D

  • Morning All.

    Well DH is going out in a little while to get the meat and very exciting some phone cable. When he comes back we are going Christmas shopping to get his families presents. May drop of DS and DD round mums will we tackle the shops :D Then need to put up Christmas tree and do lots of tidying. I seem to tidy up for 5 minutes then DD and DS make about 10 minutes mess :D


    1. Iron yesterdays wash mountain
    2. Mop the kitchen floor!
    3. get out any special christmas crockery and make sur eit is all clean and nice to use.. placemats etc too!
    4. Tidy up coats and shoes and suchlike

    Right, loads to do and less time to do it in, need to get house sorted by 1(ish)...four at the latest, but preferably one. Got to run out and grab a couple of bits....why oh why do you think 'oh I might like that' then you HAVE to have it....*shrug*

    Okay, panics aside, heard tell of a HHC at half eight, I'm sooooooooooo there.

    Just reorganised the fridge coz I just remembered the chicken was in the microwave (it wasn't on I just defrost stuff in it), and have remembered to get out doughballs and satay sticks for tonight. Why did I agree to host the Christmas eve party...Oh is at work til four, and thats when the guests are due. Hmmmm, me thinks I have yet to put panics aside...promise you'll all keep me sane (well, as sane as I am)

    Monday Mayhem..
    S&S the kitchen
    S&S the bathroom/s and loo's
    Clean the oven and hob ready for your feast!
    Clean the fridge to accommodate you bounty of food
    Change any bedding you need to get washed before the fat guy arrives.. and I do not mean the OH/parent/ etc
    Catch up on the laundry .. ironing is tomorrows job!
    Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself.. reading.. relaxing.. goggling... remember you are important too.
    Dust round the whole downstairs
    do a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs


    Tuesday - Time's nearly up!!!
    Vacuum through downstairs.. and the stairs!
    Mop the kitchen floor!
    Get rid of the washing up.. delegation is good!
    get out any special christmas crockery and make sur eit is all clean and nice to use.. placemats etc too!
    Prepare a list for that last second shopping
    Declutter your desk.. if it is anything like mine it is full of receipts and invoices!
    Have a skim through the TV guide and decide what you want to watch.. it saves missing bits of stuff if you know what is on and when!! Don't forget to make time for Queenie!
    Tidy up coats and shoes and suchlike
    Spend half an hour doing NOTHING!!.. absolutely nothing!!!! Just sit.. and relax with a drink and a treat!


    Christmas Eve - FRANTIC FRENZY
    Prepare any other bits.. stuffing, salad etc Make starters before bed.. sneaky but a great idea!
    Wash pots before bed!
    Bath time to wear everyone out..
    S&S the kitchen
    S&S the bathroom
    Straighten the tree
    Prepare eggnog, mulled wine or other festive beverage
    Get the roll of binbags at the ready
    Quick whizz over the clutter and carpets..
    Relax, enjoy yourselves and have a lovely time with your family!!
    If it isn't done now you don't need it to be done it isn't important!

    Even have OH sorting out floor edging and behaving himself! Think he may have realised I was on the verge of telling him to f*** off yesterday. Just have to go to library, get the last minute milk and then delegate to OH while he's in a good mood

    You're up late Soappie is it the excitement of the fridge? I'm very impressed by your quick decision and action.
    I wanted to watch the film. I HAD to do something about a second fridge - there was nowhere to put the beef and sausages to defrost unless I begged next door to allow me to use hers. I've told the kids the new fridge is MINE and not to use it, they can continue to use the built in fridge
