15. do a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs

Tuesday - Time's nearly up!!!
7. Prepare a list for that last second shopping
11. Wash any soft furnishings in need of freshening up

Christmas Eve - FRANTIC FRENZY
5. Wash pots before bed!
6. Bath time to wear everyone out..
9. S&S the bathroom
10. Straighten the tree
13. set up the video & camera!!! Fully charged and ready to roll!!
15. Relax, enjoy yourselves and have a lovely time with your family!!
16. If it isn't done now you don't need it to be done it isn't important!

My normal dailies -
Mop kitchen floor.
Wipe over PC desk & keep free from clutter.
Tidy & S&S bathroom.
Wash bathroom floor.
Hoover stairs/ bedrooms/landing & bathroom.
Keep ironing together (x15)
Walk the dog

1. Iron yesterdays wash mountain only 2 items, so I'll probably not bother
2. Vacuum through downstairs.. and the stairs!
3. Mop the kitchen floor!
4. Get rid of the washing up.. delegation is good! Done
5. get out any special christmas crockery and make sur eit is all clean and nice to use.. placemats etc too! Done
6. Prepare a list for that last second shopping Done
7. Declutter your desk.. if it is anything like mine it is full of receipts and invoices!
8. Have a skim through the TV guide and decide what you want to watch.. it saves missing bits of stuff if you know what is on and when!! Don't forget to make time for Queenie! Done
9. Tidy up coats and shoes and suchlike Done
10. WRAP WRAP WRAP!
11. Spend half an hour doing NOTHING!!.. absolutely nothing!!!! Just sit.. and relax with a drink and a treat! Done

1. Prepare veg for christmas dinner .. store covered in cold water overnight, it will be fine!
2. Mix yorky pud batter for tomorrow.. it is so much better if you leave it to stew.. quick whisk as use as normal
3. Prepare any other bits.. stuffing, salad etc Make starters before bed.. sneaky but a great idea!
4. PRESENTS .. nuff said! (stockings with a few bits of fruit and a cereal bar make for a healthy breakfast!)

My last minute shopping consists of a trip to Screwfix, our loo flush has given up the ghost & needs replacing, still it should keep hubby out of my hair for a while.

Morning all.
Baking day today (I like baking BUT the kitchen gets very warm!).
Then Carol Service in the evening (think DGD is looking after DS so we get a wee break, well DS should be asleep!).
I hope everyone has good days, all the plans come to fruitition and that noone gets too stressed!!!!

Morning all

Two loads of washing hung round indoors, I had trouble finding enough space for it all and then when I put the laundry basket back in the bathroom there was another load on the floor. It'll have to wait until this lot is dry!

Made cottage pie for dinner today. Prepped sprouts and carrots for tomorrow. Planning to prep sausages in bacon at some stage today. DD1 is providing the turkey (she gets one given to her from work every year) and that is supposed to be coming this morning so I've cleared a space in the fridge ready.

Vacuumed through downstairs.

Work this afternoon

Off to catch up on posts.

i'm just gonna straighten my hair(HHC in itself!!!) then we're off into town, will need lots of patience as DD does NOT like shopping!!!

Sausage rolls in oven - will have a couple for my breakfast. Have done the rubbing in for my pastry for mince pies. Cake is finished and I'm covered in icing sugar and flour!!

Have just received in the post a nice cheque from FIL. Will buy the telly for our caravan with it.

Hope no one is getting stressed - remember people are important and that includes YOU - a perfect house is NOT important in the grand scheme of things!
