There is nothing more I am going to be doing. It is one hour till Christmas Day and I'm about ready to head to bed.

All boys are safely home and we had a lovely dinner together around the table. I just sat back and watched everyone interact. Wonderful!! Oh, how I've missed it.

This is how todays list looked and what's been done:

    [strike]8am - work
11.30 leave work and pick up my big boys :T :T :T :T
Spend some time with all my boys together - bliss - until they start arguing LOL[/strike]
    Dust
Quick pick up in every room
    Wash kitchen and entry floors
    SS Bathroom
Sort who is doing what on Christmas Day
Dependant on the weather - wash pets bedding
    If I don't do it tonight - [strike]make rocky road[/strike]
[strike]Also made bulk pancake mix (giving some as a gift)[/strike]
And most importantly . . . Just enjoy my family!!!

    Did lots more:
    Got a haircut
Replaced christmas gifts that dogs had opened and destroyed - grrr
Last minute grocery shopping - again
    Had a nanny nap
Finished wrapping pressies - thought I'd finished yesterday, but I hadn't.

OK - off to bed, or santa won't be stopping here . . . have a wonderful christmas everyone.

    Happy Birthday TAG's DD xx

I better make a move...need to go to the bank, pick up a prescription and go round and see my tennant. I just got a very nippy text from her asking me to pick up my mail (I did send DD round on sat but no one was in and posted a christmas card to her) and she would returning all mail to sender if I didnt get it re-directed. Oh dear...I think someone is getting very stressed about christmas.
  • Good morning all,

Well I took 2 Phenergan and slept really well last night! Only wakened once to hear OH drinking water - :rotfl: I hope he has the headache to end all headaches - he might sympathise more when I have a Migraine! I took DD to her carshare roundabout and was in Sainsbury's by 7.30. I thought it might still be fairly quiet - it wasn't, although not completely frantic, and I was back at home for 8.10. Sat and had a quiet cup of tea and caught up on the thread, then sis made me another cuppa and I've just got myself some breakfast.

I can't find my list so had to go back to Page 1 and try to remember what I've done, with help from my wonderful DS. :A

    Monday Mayhem..
    1. Make sure the last of the presents are wrapped I will not have people sitting up while 5am on Christmas morning wrapping!
    2. Make sure your timetable for christmas day is sorted and everyone knows their tasks.. who is spud peeling? Who is stuffing the bird etc..?
    3. Dust round the whole downstairs
    Tuesday - Time's nearly up!!!
    1. Vacuum through anywhere that needs it.. and the stairs!
    2. get out any special christmas crockery and make sur eit is all clean and nice to use.. placemats etc too!
    3. Tidy up coats and shoes and suchlike
    4. WRAP WRAP WRAP!
:xmastree: Christmas Eve - FRANTIC FRENZY:xmastree:
    1. Prepare veg for christmas dinner .. store covered in cold water overnight, it will be fine!
    2. Prepare any other bits.. stuffing, salad etc Make starters before bed.. sneaky but a great idea!
    3. PRESENTS .. nuff said! (stockings with a few bits of fruit and a cereal bar make for a healthy breakfast!)
    4. Wash pots before bed!
    5. Bath time to wear everyone out.. ;)
    6. Final clean out of pets/litter trays etc
    7. S&S the kitchen
    8. S&S the bathroom
    9. Straighten the tree
    10. Get the roll of binbags at the ready
    11. set up the video & camera!!! Fully charged and ready to roll!!
    12. Quick whizz over the clutter and carpets..
    13. Relax, enjoy yourselves and have a lovely time with your family!!
    14. If it isn't done now you don't need it to be done it isn't important!
There - that's better. Basically, quick swoop around the rest of the house, then we can put the deccies up, wrap, and prep dinner stuff!:T

Large glass of bailey's being poured as I type to make more room in the fridge xx

I suppose it might be the Bailey's, but how does "typing" make room in the fridge? :rotfl::rolleyes::rotfl::rolleyes::rotfl:
Sorry folks, I can't sleep. I thought I was coping well, but it has just hit me, this is my first christmas without my mum, she died in April. I just wanted to wish her a silent prayer & A Merry Christmas.....I knew you would all understand:A

I will go back to bed, so normal flying can be resumed later xx

Hugs to anyone missing someone special this year (Mum - 11/05/07, Dad - 17/10/92). We always make a trip to the crematorium (this Saturday) and I always have a special plant by their photo, this year it's a red rose (Dad was a Lancashire lad)

Hope anyone who has been ill is now feeling a bit better. Mudbath - take care if you go to the Garden Centre. I'm still coughing, but it's definitely better than it has been.

OH is still in bed. When I came back from Sainsburys, I went up and asked him if he was supposed to be in work, as he hadn't actually told me that he was off today. As soon as he surfaces, he will be put to work. I'll find something he can do!:D Maybe cut the grass with a pair of nail scissors, brush the apple tree, polish the shed roof - I don't care, anything that can keep hime out of my hair. :D:rolleyes::rotfl:

I must nip out to the surgery for the repeat prescriptions shortly, then a quick visit to the pharmacy, but I might just make a lot of noise with the vacuum cleaner first.

Oh, and someone got up while I was out, to answer the door - my massage table has arrived! :T

Hugs all round and if I don't get back on here before anyone goes away etc

    :xmastree: HAPPY CHRISTMAS :xmastree:

    Morning all

Happy Birthday to those celebrating today :D hope you all have a great day.

We are about to get dressed and collect the flowers for DH to take in the morning. Miss A has a Christmas eve party to attend and W is going to see Father Christmas at the local garden centre (although he does not know that yet!)

Less than 1 hour before Santa sets off, tracking at the ready here!
