rach - hope your bin gets emptied tomorrow

soappie - my veg is in the garage, the cheese & cream is in OH beer fridge
  • Very brief post to say evening and I'm not stopping!

Seriously, I haven't stopped today, painting finished, lounge vacuumed and dusted, dining room half done, all ironing done, last of present shopping done, including two donut style dog beds, as they don't like the floor now there's no carpet down, and it's cold bare concrete till we do the laminate. They love them. Also DS washed the kitchen and utility room floor voluntarily while I was ironing, and he's put the bins out. :A DD went to bed at about 9.30 as she has a sore throat. Sis has just gone to bed and DS and I will follow shortly.

Anyone notice a certain character missing from this? Yep! That's the one. OH was sent to bed by DS while I was present shopping at TKMaxx with DD and sis. He came home at lunchtime to shower/change etc for his works do which started at 1.30, I let him walk as I was painting, although I stopped to take DS to GF's party at 2. Anyway, he said he would be home at 5, but was still out when we left at 6.15, not sure what time he came in, but DS said he was in his armchair, fully reclined and snoring, so he told him to go to bed out of the way, and he did.

I'm still feeling a bit iffy. I've eaten 2 satsumas, a bowl of vegetable soup and 2 bread rolls as I just don't feel like anything. It's probably the ABs (Clarythromycin - if anyone knows of them) as it's in the contraindications, but I'm also just generally fed up and tired, and thinking next year has to be better than this. Never mind. I'm off to bed and will finish catching up tomorrow.

    Welcome all newbies.

    Get well hugs where appropriate.

Emily - glad to hear you're settling in.

Oh, and I haven't had any Christmas cards yet. Cross border posting?

    Goodnight and God Bless. x

Pink fairy - well done on finishing the painting.

Rach - there's about an inch that hasn't healed but it's where the two bits of skin don't meet properly - there's a step - so what i'm seeing is the underneath layer of skin so it looks whitish grey. It needs to granulate from the bottom up so could up to a month. Everything considered though - it's all gone very well.

I'm off to bed now. It's worth staying awake in the day to be this tired at night as I sleep without a second thought.

DH has just sat down for the first time today. He got up at 730am. Bless him xx

I'm going to watch the end of 'Overboard' (another lovely film in my view!) then go to bed
Me'n'DD like that...I have bred ***glow*** a daughter who loves romcoms...a lil pal to watch them with - I bought her 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days' for her birthday a couple of years ago (Jan babe - she gets sale bargains:D) and I could hardly wait to see her face when she opened it -she was utterly thrilled.

BTW she has just fallen in love with The Parent Trap (1998 - Lindsey Lohan) and HMV say it's on it's way. No prob if it doesn't come tomorrow - I'll keep it for her birthday.

Incidentaly DS shares my love of comedy - 'Life of Brian' is particulary enjoyed at the mo.

Piggers - thanks so much for the Christmas lists, they must have taken you ages and they are really helping Miss Panic here to stay calm and get organised

Actually they took about a minute and a half each!! and that was purely because I can only type slow on this decrepit keyboard otherwise it skips letters! It takes me miles longer on the usual layout because I like to give you new things and change stuff about.

They are just stuff that HAS to be done and I always forget.. I am a listoholic!

Back from tescos.. it wasn't too busy.. other than someone tried nicking my trolley while I looked at gobblers! So my mother told him off lol..

I've not heard from Triker so I guess she must have got off ok.. otherwise she would have been wailing on my doorstep she really needs this jollyday. If her hubby couldn't go she has probably gone without him she was so looking forward to it lol.

I'm having a cuppa then making headway into this wrapping.. and I have a nail appointment at 9am tomorrow.. and DD1 is having her eyebushes ripped off! I may have mine done too.. :D
