    Monday Mayhem..
    1. Make sure you have all the shopping you need to take you through to next week..
    2. Make sure the last of the presents are wrapped
    3. Have we located stockings?
    4. S&S the bathroom/s and loo's
    5. Dust round the whole downstairs
    6. do a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs
    Tuesday - Time's nearly up!!!
    1. Children... quick.. tidy your rooms you don't want Santa thinking you don't look after your stuff.. he might not leave any presents!
    2. Iron yesterdays wash mountain
    3. Vacuum through downstairs.. and the stairs!
    4. Mop the kitchen floor!
    5. Prepare a list for that last second shopping
    6. Declutter your desk..
    7. Tidy up coats and shoes and suchlike
    8. WRAP WRAP WRAP!

  • So far today I have done all the washing up and cleaned the sink, put a load of washing in, and opened the post. Hmmm - more work needed!!

    Tuesday - Time's nearly up!!!
    1. Iron yesterdays wash mountain
    2. Vacuum through downstairs.. and the stairs!
    3. Mop the kitchen floor!
    4. Declutter your desk.. if it is anything like mine it is full of receipts and invoices!
    5. Have a skim through the TV guide and decide what you want to watch.. it saves missing bits of stuff if you know what is on and when!! Don't forget to make time for Queenie!
    6. WRAP WRAP WRAP!
    7. Spend half an hour doing NOTHING!!.. absolutely nothing!!!! Just sit.. and relax with a drink and a treat!

    My livingroom is now looking much better. Just need to vacuum it and it will be finished. Getting there slowly.....

    Will do another HHC at 12noon if anyone wants to join me.
    We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

    not loads done yet but some bits:

    Monday Mayhem..
    1. Make sure you have all the shopping you need to take you through to next week.. milk and bread especially!

    2. Make sure the last of the presents are wrapped I will not have people sitting up while 5am on Christmas morning wrapping!
    3. Have we located stockings? - they are all packed full too!
    4. S&S the kitchen
    5. S&S the bathroom/s and loo's - ME
    6. Clean the oven and hob ready for your feast!
    7. Clean the fridge to accommodate you bounty of food
    8. Change any bedding you need to get washed before the fat guy arrives.. and I do not mean the OH/parent/ etc
    9. Catch up on the laundry - ME
    10. Phone someone you 'forgot' to post a card to in time.. just so they know you've not forgotten them...
    11. Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself.. reading.. relaxing.. goggling... remember you are important too.
    12. Dust round the whole downstairs - DH
    13. do a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs - ?? ME probably
    14. put away clean laundry - folded which is a start!!- BOTH
    15. make list of bits needed until xmas: croissants, bacon, eggs, rolls, salad, mince pies, brandy butter, cereal, bread, peanut butter, fish, stuff for dh's aunt's sweets

    1. Vacuum through downstairs.. and the stairs! - DH
    2. Mop the kitchen floor! - ME
    3. Get rid of the washing up.. delegation is good! - DH
    4. Prepare a list for that last second shopping - ME

    lil_me - well done with your shopping last night hope you and the boys are not too tired today.
    rach - how awful especially at this time of year, fingers crossed they turn up today.

    so far this morning the DW has been emptied, WM emptied & reloaded, TD loaded, dog walked, the chilli taken out of slow cooker and added to the freezer stash,

    Just going for the first HHC of the day 11.30 - 12 is anyone else about

    Where has this morning gone? I don't seem to be getting anywhere today. :confused: Got to leave here at 1pm to get to the panto on time so I really need to shift myself as I'm still in my PJs :o

    6. Make sure your timetable for christmas day is sorted and everyone knows their tasks.. who is spud peeling? Who is stuffing the bird etc..?
    7. Catch up on the laundry I'm trying...nearly there
    8. Phone someone you 'forgot' to post a card to in time.. just so they know you've not forgotten them... I forgot the stamps so will post the cards when I've got some more!

    doesn't look like the most successful half hour but i did sort through 2 messy hotspots in the kitchen, and put them into 1 tidier hotspot, while S+Sing the kitchen and put the last load of washing into the machine, will do another HHC at 12, to do the kitchen floor and hoover, tidy LR, anybody want to join in?
