    **rant alert** :mad::mad::mad::mad:

    I'm so mad. I just phoned the council to report yet another missed bin delivery...the woman informs me that 'sorry, i can't report it and get them out to it because we don't have the resources'. I told her this is at least 5 weeks in a row it hasn't been done and that it's full so if she doesn't get someone out today I will empty it on the pavement round the corner. Ok she says, give me your address, which surprise surprise is not on their new system...so she says she'll phone back. That was 30 minutes ago and still nothing....I told her I will be going to the chief exec and the newspaper if this doesn't get sorted. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
    I'm mad with DH too as I phoned him yesterday on my way out and said could he either look up the number so i could report it or do it online. He said he'd do it online and wrote it down but forgot. So bl**dy annoying. He keeps telling me to sit down and put my feet but then i ask him to do a simple thing and he doesn't do it.

  • Morning all.
    Welcome Hardup Hester hope you get on well today.
    Get well soon to all those not feeling well.
    DS has a fever 2/3 days now but it seems early to be the effects of the jabs he had last wed. (10 day incubation they said) so must call and ask for a GP to ring back to double check. Don’t want to spend Christmas day at the emergency room or out of service GP sitting around (must also find out what’s open when just in case.)
    Other then that it’s following the list and catching up on the thread for me today. If I get a chance I will bake a fruit cake today instead of tomorrow.
    The work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.
  • Morning everyone,
    I'm a bit grumpy this morning, have worked over 40hrs in the past 4 days and yet i'm still having to do everything in the house:confused: Hubby was off saturday and sunday and didnt do a thing:mad: So i'm knackered and asked hubby if we could go down to his mums tomorrow instead of today and he said no! So i have to drive 3 1/2 hours down south tonight, i have a ton of stuff to do, havent even done all the washing for going away yet as the washing machine is being so slow and i just want to cry/sleep. Didnt get in from work til 1am then i had to do the dishes that he had left from dinner and S&S the kitchen as it was disgusting.:mad:

    Sorry for the moaning, just feeling a bit down.

    Glad you are deeling a bit better Valli, hugs for Greenbee and anyone else who needs one.
    Off to make a start on my giant list....
