  • :bdaycake: Happy birthday pigpen. Thank you for all your hard work keeping us in check ;)

I'm having a lovely lazy day...watching the football and deciding how to spend my Christmas money. Oh and I got 'Thifty Ways for Modern Days' and 'How to feed your whole family a healthy, balanced diet with very little money...and hardly any time, even if you have a tiny kitchen, only three saucepans (one with an ill-fitting lid) and no fancy gadgets - unless you count the garlic crusher...' What a great title :D And now going to check the Lakeland website...thank you Hex ;)

  • I was out for over an hour with the dogs. It was a beautiful, if cold, morning, and there were loads of people out, with and without dogs, joggers, children on bikes, but I was able to let the dogs off several times for a run, with other dogs, and they came home shattered. It's the first time in two months that I've been well enough to take them out, so I made the most of it.

By the time I got back, sis was home, everyone else was up and about and OH had dinner under control - a modified version of yesterday's, so we've all had lunch, and despite having a longer sleep than normal, I've had an afternoon nap as well! (Missed most of Keeping up Appearances!)

We're off to my brother's in an hour for our Mamma Mia" party.

Enjoy the rest of your day. x

Does that not make it really mushy? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    It certainly was yesterday!

Feeling really yucky again with cold in my sinuses, went to bed for an hour but don't feel any better. DS1 back in bed with sore throat. Feel reallly bad as we were all going to Mum's and now just DH has taken the younger two over there for a bit.
