Morning, oh sorry afternoon, spent the morning unloading/loading DW and WM, then sliced the meats left, 3 large plates full! Dog happy as he's had a pile of fatty bits etc for breakfast.
Need to take DP to pub for 2pm then back home for me and the boys (Boxing Day usual with his Dad, his half brother and possibly his step Dad which is a bit strange, both his Mam's ex husbands now as she's divorcing that one too) no sales for me, will be tidying/helping with new toys then putting DP to bed when he eventually rolls in.....after he is ill (like I said Boxing Day usual) Suppose I should go make some sandwiches for him before he goes then parcel what meat we won't use for freezer.
Have a nice day all, I'll be back this afternoon after I have got rid of him
(PS Jayjay Quidco do cashback for Currys and Comet I think, I ordered electricals from Littlewoods as they had good cashback and codes which made them cheaper)One day I might be more organised...........

(i'm not helping here am i???)
are your cups that match on display or stored away?
I use the cups all of the time - I try really hard not to buy more clutter, or anything that needs dusting or storing. Most of my kitchen stuff has been in boxes for over a year now since the dry rot and woodworm relegated the kitchen to the bottom of the to do list. I also have a fairly extensive set of vintage royal doulton (bought piece by piece from e-bay when no one else is bidding) for when we have visitors.
I think I am going to do the sensible thing and regret it quietly for a few days - thanks for the suggestions though.
I might just tidy the pantry out for half an hour and hopefully by then it will have sold out.

I am stripping the meat off the carcass - not a job I like and I didn't even enjoy the turkey. All fatty/dark meat being frozen in bags for the cats. White meat (not lots left to be frozen for cooking with leeks and cheese sauce in a week or so when I've got over my I don't like turkey anymore phase. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Does that not make it really mushy? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Penelope Penguin - this is a message just for you!!!
My sister's friend text at 7 on Christmas Eve to say Tom (Yes, that Tom!) had been in for a haircut. Then she text again at about 11 to say he had gone to hers for a beer!!!! We're still wondering how she managed that - and sis is really miffed that she's here and not at home!DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Lil_me, Quidco do cashback on CDs at Currys entertainment and Comet accessories not for appliances unfortunatly- anyway I couldn't get through to Comet,(I was going to get the Nectar points through estores) but I ended up just googling the smeg one and went through one of those sites that list in order of cheapness. By the time I had waded through the mire of delivery charges and dates I ended up ordering it at Co-op online, £259 with free delivery on Wed 31st (most companies eg sainsbugs couldn't offer delivery until after 7th Jan:eek:
So I haven't got cashback but I have goe it £37 cheaper than Comet so that isn't half bad.
Nice simple hot slo-cooked brisket sarnies for lunch and off to Ashia's for evening munchies so it's not been a very harrowing day really.
Hope you are having a memorable day Pigpen.

We wont be heading out any where now, just found DD1's DS which she admitted to having lost yesterday!!! only after going through ther stocking with new games etc. We did have a quick search yesterday but no luck and did have visions of heading out to replace today(she is normally so careful with things that we were both expecting not to find it) but thankfully dont .
Kids have just put on the Narnia DVD they got so might join them on the sofa to watch.0 -

Wm on again and TD, dinner nearly ready and kids playing nicely (this is not normally my house).
Livingroom cleared and rubbish all at back door for sorting through. Now gonna spend HHC in the kitchen before dinner.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0
