    Triker got off ok.. hubby was given the all clear so away they went.

    Taken pig and pies to my mothers.. and...

    I need to say a huge huge huge humangoose THANK YOU to you lovely lot for my present.. I took delivery of a large wicker picnic hamper (I always wanted one of those!!) filled with goodies and treats and bickies... It is absolutely wonderful and you are all way to good to me and too generous.. it was a huge and wonderful surprise..

    Now.. I MUST go finish the wrapping.. and hubby can keep my tea cup filled and supervise the cleaning of the girls room before it devolves into total squalor!.. where's my list..?

    1. Children... quick.. tidy your rooms
    2. Iron yesterdays wash mountain
    3. Mop the kitchen floor!
    4. Declutter your desk.. loads of rubbish!!
    5. Tidy up coats and shoes and suchlike
    6. WRAP WRAP WRAP!

    1. Prepare food for christmas dinner ..
    2. PRESENTS .. 4 more boxes to wrap!
    3. Wash pots before bed!
    4. Bath time to wear everyone out.. ;)
    5. set up the video & camera!!! Fully charged and ready to roll!!
    6. Quick whizz over the clutter and carpets..

    First task.. desk declutter while I have my first cuppa..

    Children are delighted because Santa is in the Yap Islands.. so calle dbecause everyone there talks non-stop.. apparently...

    Hi,

    It looks like everyones been busy today. Ds2 asked to go to bed earlier so Santa could come. I've had Ds1 and Sds helping me this morning.

    We have

    Made beds
    Collected laundry
    Td & fold x 1
    Washed & dryed up Ds1
    Refilled coal bucket Sds

    Tuesday - Time's nearly up!!!

    1. Children... quick.. tidy your rooms you don't want Santa thinking you don't look after your stuff.. he might not leave any presents!
    2. Iron yesterdays wash mountain

    4. Mop the kitchen floor!
    8. Declutter your desk.. if it is anything like mine it is full of receipts and invoices!
    9. Have a skim through the TV guide and decide what you want to watch.. it saves missing bits of stuff if you know what is on and when!! Don't forget to make time for Queenie! I've done up till 8pm tonight before the remote was taken off me:rolleyes:
    10. Toy boxes can be banished upstairs! Most done only 1 left to go when Ds2 goes to bed

    Prepare any other bits.. stuffing, salad etc Make starters before bed.. sneaky but a great idea!

    Santa's obviously been listening to you, and appreciates your efforts to keep your house tidy (against the odds, it has to be said ;) ), although why he bothered with all the other stuff, when like every child its the BOX you're most interested in, I don't know :confused:
