Well I've just put everything away ready to pick the kids up and DH has rung to say he'll pick them up. He fell at work yesterday so he reported it today and they've sent him to the hospital. So he's going to pick the kids up, drop them off and then go to the walk-in centre.

I'm having a break with a cup of tea. In my HHC with Ashia, I dusted and dysoned my bedroom and the hallway leading to it, washing the woodwork on the door and hung one lot of washing up on the airer and put another lot in the washing machine.

Getting there.... Christmas cake in the oven, the latest I've ever cooked it, and I've just realised that I forgot to put the almonds on the top!! I think I'll glaze it and stick them on after!

I'm off to the allotment now, leaving the rest of the list by the phone for everyone else to choose something from.

Thank you very much pigpen for the lists, which have been a great help!:T

DD not feeling great, but the antibiotics are helping and her ear and throat are better today, but they're having much the same effect as on you Pink! Big hugs for you :grouphug:by the way, I hope next year is much, much better for you all.

Hugs to Lady-liberty, and all those missing loved ones.

And by the way, has anyone seen two large Toblerones that I bought weeks ago for the DS's, and put away really safely, and can't remember where???;)

    :santa2:Happy Christmas Denise!

Is anyone up for a HHC at 1pm? I have to clean kitchen after all the cooking and sweep and mop floor.
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

Just got my cards so a big Thank You to everyone, they are all lovely, I feel all special now xxxx Big Thanks for lil_me and her little helpers for playing postmen, you are stars! xxx

Been to Aldi where they had only some sorry looking parsnips and carrots, and that was the extent of their fresh veg/fruit so got what I needed then nipped across to Iceland where they had everything, so finished all my shopping! Everything is wrapped, the house has been cleaned just a quick hoover later after tea, DS1 popped in and they're all still coming later on :j Just gonna chill for a bit then prep the veg for tomorrow.
