Nice to meet you too....sadly, I didn't get into them until just after Fish had left - would have loved to have seen the original line up.
Not my favourite of the Fish-era albums, but has been in the car CD player for a couple of weeks now... I particularly like Blind Curve.

Mistakes like this do happen, I won a BIN on a game once then noticed it was either an expansion pack or wrong format (can't remember) emailed the seller offering to pay for the fees but he declined my offer and just did some mutual cancellation to get his fees back from ebay.
Think buyers get 3 mistakes allowed before it goes against them, just look through the site for mutual cancellation or something as you'll get the fees back without the hassle of waiting 7 days and the buyer ,who's contacted you pretty quick and may be telling the truth, will be happy to confirm the mutual cancellation.Wins: pink kids laptop0 -

Absolutely not..look up what 'mutual' actually means and then explain how this is mutual. The seller has lost out on listing fees, FVFs time and expense and do you really expect the seller to accept such a poor excuse to be out of pocket? A sale before Christmas is probably worth a great deal more than a sale afterwards so all that needs to be factored in as well. Also, unless th ebuyer confirms a mutual the selelr loses their FVFs..and since this sort of buyer is apparently stupid enough to bid by accident can they honestly be trusted to confirm a mutual? I think not.

You didn't win a BIN, you saw the auction had a chance to check and confirm it was what you wanted and then you confirmed you wanted it..there was no element of chance in this one. You were very lucky that the seller let you off, personally I would have gone down the full NPB route especially as this was a BIN.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Yeah but I imagine you're a right miserable sod soolin, I'd offered to pay the fees etc , in fact I think I actually offered to pay for the item (was cheap) just not the postage and told them they could do whatever they wanted with the item.
Luckily they weren't such a moaner as you and obviously there's something in the ebay rules maybe not called a mutual cancellation but something covers it as I had to fill in some automated ebay form or other and the seller got back their fees. I guess its not surprising sellers like you end up bitter with your 80% feedback scores when you're continually jumping the gun.Wins: pink kids laptop0 -

 Good lord! Have you not got anything better to do at this time of year than be abusive. If not, go and find something rather than attacking people on a forum which is supposed to be there to HELP people.0 -

You need to get out more and actually understand how ebay and things really work.obviously there's something in the ebay rules maybe not called a mutual cancellation but something covers it as I had to fill in some automated ebay form
The OP in this instance has sold an item that I imagine was very expensive, he now has to pay to relist and enter a market which after Christmas is likely to be a lot less buoyant than just before Christmas. If this had been a BIN it would have been even worse as there wouldn't even be a chance of a second chance offer at a lower amount to the second bidder.
I believe that my reading of this situation is quite correct and I certainly will not be regretting my policy decision to treat my buyers as they deserve to be treated, it certainly has not harmed my feedback percentage, usually a TSFE buyer doesn't last long enough to leave any feedback.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Yeah I think they were a powerseller so probably had more options than you do selling your jumble sale tatWins: pink kids laptop0
