Suprised at AVASTS false positive numbers there!

Ditto ;) Let's remember it's one test for false postives though...

I always do. I compare test after test after test.

Funnily enough, AVG never seems to do as well as Avast or Avira in ANY of them :p

Stop PMS'ing over it. They are all DREADFUL pieces of software if you like full-speed computing. Ive tried all of the free ones and swore I wouldnt go near them again.
NOD32 was slightly less awful but I ditched that after a while too.
No 'nasties' on my system, because I dont download unreliable crap or click on moron-bait links.

    So

    If say ~

Someone hacked THIS VERY SITE and had it infect everyones computer with a malicious 'script' virus then youd be infected yes? (Just one of a ton of examples I could give really)

  • A lot of people think that, but I simply dont buy into the scaremongering. In this area, a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing.

    Didn't mean to thank ;)

So are you saying ignorance is bliss?
