Downloaded AAV ...scanned the downloaded file with AVG and Malwarebytes (clean) uninstalled AVG...
installed AAV then setup a system scan while i watched a movie....
then it found the three nasties!
So......??
So Avira AntiVir is better at finding viruses than AVG is.0 -

As Marty says
It makes me laugh when peole tell me theyve used say - NORTON and never had a virus. But how would they know if its too c*ap to pick them up?
Ive scanned drives with Malwarebytes that have found trojans on computers that use ~ AVG, Norton and Mcafee amongst others:idea:0 -

I find it slightly baffling as to why you so vehemently defend AVG
Its consistantly behind both AVAST and AVIRA in all the tests ive seen. I used to use it myself but on at least 2 occasions I had to uninstall and reinstall just to get it to update
Theres at least 3 times this year its detected an actual genuine operating system file as a virus (And made a REAL mess of some peoples computers)
THIS VERY SITE is RIDDLED with people having problems with AVG
I dont recall a SINGLE Avira problem
It DOES slow certain computers down (What the exact conditions are im unsure of)
Avira is faster without question
AVG takes all night to scan my drive when Avira (with BETTER detection rates) takes a couple of hours
I could probably go on and on..........:idea:0 -
