Prescribed diet pills from doctor

Doctor is possibly going to prescribe diet pills after new year as cannot lose any weight regardless of what I do ( I have an underactive thyroid as well), im currently writing out everything I eat between now and then (food diary).

What I would like to know is any of you out there use them and are they effective also what is your experience with them?

I am not looking for medical advice just users experiences.

Thanks in advance

if there the same as the ones my OH had, every time you eat something fatty it makes your poo all oily and she was prone to `following through`
suffice to say she soon gave em up.

I have heard that. Does it mean though if you follow a low fat diet you should be ok?

I think that thats the whole idea !!!!!
  • Have you tried the Cambridge Diet or Lighter Life (both essentially the same thing but LL costs more than CD). I've lost 5 stone so far on the the CD and would whole heartedly recommend it to anyone looking to lose a significant amount of weight.
    No follow through involved!:D

But most foods contain fat however small, dont want to have an accident crapping myself. I know it has to pass through you but want to be able to control it.
Not tried Cambridge Diet or Lighter Life, tried slimfast and put on weight - figure that out and that was while I was on it and not after.
  • Slimfast is completely different, it's packed full of sugar for a start. Have a look into it before you go shoving chemicals down your throat hun.

Last year I was a the gym practically non stop, still the weight has gone up. Tried numerous things but weight still goes up at at constant rate. This is my last resort. Diet is not bad and im vegetarian. Really thought it was my medication needing changed for hypothyroidism but results came back good. Doctor also going to speak to someone about a possible homone imbalance maybe affecting my ability not to lose weight?

If you're committed to a heavy gym routine then a guaranteed way for the pounds to fall off is to use an ECA stack.

But it's not for everyone and you need to know where to look to get the E part of the stack ;)
