Yeah I know, you have said that already, anything new to add?

And you must be interesting in my wealth to say I am jealous of a student with more dosh than me, which is quite an assumption.

Now the boyfriend HAS to spend £300 on her or it will be sulks all rouund.

Why? I don't say to my Mrs "hey I've spent £xxx on you". Surely it's the thought you put into the present which is important.

I doubt you'll reply tonight, you are probably far too busy, with your calculator "Mrs Advent, you need to spend a further £x"

If you believe that then you dont live in the real world.
A woman will not spend in excess of £300 on her boyfriend and then be happy with a cd from him.
She would say she is happy, but deep down it will linger and fester.
Come June and the first argument starts with him not putting the toilet seat down and ends with "I SPENT £300 ON YOU CHRISTMAS AND YOU BOUGHT ME A POXY CD."

BAH HUMBUG!!!!!
I cant wait until tomorrow to see what sh1te the in-laws have bought me. Got my happy face all ready and when I open up the Battery Operated Shoe Shine Kit I will say "Ooooh Just what I wanted."

Clearly, you have a very different relationship to the one I am in and many on this website.

You are a very unhappy man aren't you? Happy Christmas anyway.

GOING OFF-TOPIC

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: While it’s easy to wander off-topic that often prevents newbies finding the information they want quickly and easily (please see this rule). Please keep this thread on topic. If you’d like to discuss non-MoneySaving related topics please continue your discussion in The MoneySavers Arms or Discussion Time. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

And by this I mean the original question was about the delivery being made to the wrong place and should the OP take it further, rather than an argument about who spent what on who :)
