This is the reason I hate Christmas so much.
What happened to the good old days of a small gift or am I so behind the times that £300 is a normal amount to pay?
Do you not think it is up to individuals as to how much to spend on Christmas presents?0 -
Of course it is, just as it is up to me to comment that £300 is a ridiculous amount to spend on a student boyfried.0

bloody students.Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?0

How do you know how much dosh I have?
I imagine I have more "dosh" than aforementioned student if they spend £300 on a boyfriends pressie. Now the boyfriend HAS to spend £300 on her or it will be sulks all rouund.
Plus the words Student & Lots Of Cash dont really go together.
FYI I have quite a lot of dosh as I spend it wisely, not all people on moneysavingexpert are skint.0 -

Why the hell do people have to be so negative and i must say quite insulting when all i did was post on here for some advice. Not that i need to explain myself but i chose to spend that amount of money on my boyfriend because i think he deserves it. I happen to be in a position where i can afford to spend that amount of money because as well as being a student i work 30 hours a week!!!
I understand that you are entitled to a point of view and or opinion but please don't insult me but implying that i would sulk if he doesn't spend the same on me, you know nothing about our situation x0 -

I've got no idea (and very little interest) as to your wealth. But I do find it a touch pathetic and really not in keeping with the season of goodwill to be moaning on about how much students spend.
It is up to them. Not you.0
