Just wondered pickles mate, if you have 250+ forced redundancies, wouldn't you want other Unite workers to come out in yr support?

I would not want others to throw their own jobs for me.
It would also not solve or change anything, look what happened to the miners etc they got destroyed.

The miners were going anyway, Maggie had decided they were obsolete and the strike just made it easy for her:p

The point of the union is support, taht yer not alone:D

When pickles gets his P45 from the docks he'll have to stop posting nonsense on here about everything being hunky-dory with the economy and house prices. It shouldn't be long now...

Mr puppet, there is a chance in this recession that anybody could lose their jobs, however I still believe that even if we lost 30% of staff jobs I would still survive, but who knows.
Thank you very much for wishing my demise it just shows how bitter and twisted you lot are.

Thing is FF if we had 250+ forced redundancies I very much doubt the Felixstowe workers would come out and support ourselves let alone anyone else, That's how close knit we are.

So what you saying mate? You'll be voting against the 10% pay cut and in nfavour of redundancies cos you feel your job's secure?

Staff are not having their Pay cut by 10%, all we are losing are 2 Days pay for the extra unpaid holiday that we will have to take.
That is a no brainer for us, lose two days pay to keep people in jobs.

If they dont make staff jobs secure, why would anyone vote to have their pay cut?
