He has admitted to huge debts and presumably counted on that full salary to service those debts; I am sure you can at least imagine how he must be feeling facing losing 10% or more of that salary, can you not find it within yourself to forgive and forget?
Like I have said before all they are stopping from me is BONUS and that is never taken for granted by anyone.0 -

Some members of staff took the generous voluntary redundency packages that were on offer.

But the article says this...
The 2,500 management and quayside workers at Felixstowe have been told the port needs to make savings quickly with its downturn in business equal to having lost one of its major customers.0 -

To be honest with you there's so much going on at the moment with people taking voluntary packages
daily I doubt the company itself knows how many people are left on the books.0 -

Also worrying news was that the Port have pulled out of sponsoring our local carnival, something they have done for years and years, even throughout the last recession.
It has been blamed on the current economic crisis, the job losses and the fact that they cannot be seen to be frivolous when people are losing their jobs.
On their own, these stories are a little nervy but when taken together, they become a little bit scary! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0
