this weeks union meeting was by all accounts again not a discussion but a directive, wanting to change contracts without any consultation. How do the company think people can manage? Once the opportunity for taking £10,000 has gone it appears that they intend to then take away a shift, luckily we are older and don't have young children and I work but how do young families manage when already floaters money has been stopped £100, if a day is take away then that will be £170 per week!!!! Why do people pay union dues for NOT having their views taken into consideration? The fixed long term guys seem to think they are ok but get real we all know that they are not.0

How does that sort of money support a mountain of debt? What do you do when you can't get rid of property that is dropping in value daily?0

It was a rhetorical question.0

Workers' pay to be cut along with other money-saving devices.
A tragic day for everyone involved and for the area.

We would rather take a small cut so that there are no further need for Job Cuts and to explain this a little bit better it is only Supplements that are being cut and not our Salary.0
