As usual everyone looks for the negative, At the moment the company has offered loads of very exciting prospects for the employees.
It is giving them the chance for career breaks or leaving the company with an excellant payoff.

Voluntary redundancy gives a lot of people good opportunities. They have capital to start a business for example.

I agree of course up to a point. But not sure whether Felixstowe can support 200 burger vans.

Companies cannot announce redundancies too specifically or too far in advance.
I know from experience that some female members of staff realise that this might be a good time to get pregnant.

I was going to go a bit more upmarket than that and buy a McDonald's franchise, but hey if David Van Day can do it.

We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
