I have not checked that, what does it mean?

By the way, what's wrong with the Sky Line Rental, why is BT better?

You need to know if Sky have their equipment in your exchange, its called local loop unbundling.
If they have then the broadband service is cheaper, Base: £5/month, Mid £10/month, max £15/month. Otherwise they will sell you Connect at £17/month. ( Save £5/month when you take Sky talk)
I explained the position regarding line rental, i.e. If you don't pay BT line rental they wont be to fussed about fixing it if it goes down.

    No.
You contact Sky to report a fault, they then arrange for BT to investigate/fix it.
Previous experience suggests that BT may not treat such requests as a priority.
BTW, BT own all the exchanges( except in Hull) and the 'last mile' of copper to your property. They do not allow third party operators access to either.
However the kit is very reliable these days and you may never need it fixed.

I have Sky Line Rental, have had it for a while now. No problems so far and great customer service received so far.

Have also had various deals from Sky 12 months free line rental is one of them.. I'd love to see BT start doing this, and as Nitro89 has said whats so great about BT Line Rental....???

If there is a fault with your Sky Talk Line then Sky pass the fault to BT to repair and if they don't get it fixed within a reasonable time then BT don't get paid by Sky so of course it is a priority for them to get it fixed...
