I think Screenselect have become a victim of their own success and now that certain mainstream shops have a direct link to them the service will become even slower.

I don't like the fact that they give you the option to prioritise your choice but you never get them, otherwise I am happy with the service.

If you want to experience a 1st class dvd service try https://www.globalerental.co.uk

30 day free trial with up to 5 dvd's at any one time.
Range of dvd's and speed of turnover is very impressive.

The day after release I recieved Lost in translation and Fear X.
This has to be the best DVD rental service I've trialled!!

Unusually to confirm debit/credit card details £0.99 is debited from your account ,but this is credited back to your account 2-3 days later.

took the Movieschoices.com free trial with the Free Oceans 11 DVD and already got a niggle with them.

I got a new bank debit card and entered that last Friday when registering. Most of the others I have tried seem to validate your card straight away but not this company.

I got an email on Monday! saying there was a problem with my card. 3 precious days lost!
    PLAY GOOD!

I have been using Blockbuster rental services for the past three weeks and managed to get 20 DVD titles. They have been very impressive in their turnover of discs and always email you when your returns are received and when your next DVDs are dispatched.

Another company I have a free trial rental is DVDS365. Contrary to what COS has stated elsewhere, I have been receiving 2 discs from this company for the past couple of weeks. Turnaround of 15 DVDs has been very good given the limit so its worth a free trial.

    Videoisland or Movietrak next methinks.

Ive never really looked into Postal rental DVD's....

Just a few questions if I may???

Can you really get your moneys worth out of it?

Who is liable if items go astray in the UK's unreliable post?

    How reliable are they?

and finally, do you get the films you want, when you want most of the time??

    Thanks

    ML.

    What about...

    http://www.postadvd.com/

They also do PS2 games as well?

That seems pretty good to me.

Do any other sites [who are reliable and good] do PS2 games, and maybe even audio CD's?

    Thanks

https://www.Lovefilm.co.uk  state that if the post becomes unreliable in your area they will cease to send DVDS to your address and  they will bare the cost of the loss.

COS, agree with your comments above.
I checked with screenselect customer services and they say they have no hold ups at their end, but thus they cannot see why us customers are complaining about next dispactch of DVDs taking so long. Everyone of my DVDs for the past few weeks, takes them 24hrs to dispatch another when they have received one back. Whereas they used to dispatch on the same day. I still think it is a cost cutting measure (maybe to reduce their postage bill, although screen select deny this when i asked), and have queried them many times on this, as to why they cannot dispatch on the same day as one is received. Did not mind the odd time, but now its almost common for them to be slow. Need to check out another company now that moviechoices trial is over.
(BTW movie choices have a very good customer service, but poor movie selection).
