survey - how often do you use camera function on your mobile
Options
since camera is a essential function of modern mobile phones, it's hard to find a non-camera phone now! even some of the phones including SE W800i, sharp 903, a seimens (cant tell the model number) and the Nokia n90 have better resolution than my old Sony DC. but are everyone making the best out of it.
I personally dont use it, and even if i do, i wouldnt save them to the PC, not to mention about mob-blog.
so it will be nice to hear from you guys on your usage and opinion on the camera phones.
EDITED: this competition may interest those of you who uses your phone camera: https://www.seenew.com

every dayI use mine daily and use it to moblog, and occasionally print them.
I think they are a good alternative to digi cams. Of course they are nowhere near the quality of them, but they are good for those off the cuff moments.
Mind you I'm probably not the best person to ask, as I often have my camera "glued to my face", as my partner puts it!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
I think mobile cameras are good for most people that want to take viewable images without having to carry around (or buy) a digital camera. The quality has improved loads on mobiles, and for most pictures that Id want to take, they are more than adequate. In terms of usage, Id say I use mine up to 5 times a week for taking a photo... I have a 6230 so its only vga but looks ok on the phone's screen or if I transfer to pc.0

sometimes, used to capture the precious momentthanks for the opinions, and thanks to gizmoleeds for the suggestion for the poll.
also will be interested to see how many people are actually using mob-blog!0 -
sometimes, used to capture the precious momentI wouldn't know how to download a photo from my phone. I put in the software for my V3 on the computer, but i have no idea how to download ringtones/wallpapers or my own photos yet.
I use my camera sometimes. I'm not a heavy user of it, but i use the video camera more for the kids.0 -
sometimes, used to capture the precious momentI find it easier to use the bluetooth link to download pics from my V30

sometimes, used to capture the precious momentThis may seem dumb, but do you need a bluetooth earpiece for it and do you still have to pay for the downloads?0

You will need a bluetooth dongle (around £10 on Ebay), stick it in the computer usb port, set it up according to instructions and you will be able to upload and download to/from the phone to your hearts content0 -
sometimes, used to capture the precious momentI thought you could do the same with the software that came with my V3 as well.0

sometimes, used to capture the precious momenti am not a big fan of Motorola - they have probably the worst user interface. but most likely you should have a folder/drive when you have installed and connected the phone to your pc. so you should just be able to drag and drop the files...
cos that s how it works with nokia or a normal mp3, just a guess! !0 -
used weeklyWe use mine to take quick pictures, saves taking the bigger camera.
I specifically bought a phone with an infra red connection. It isn't advertised widely as blus tooth has taken off more but it was in my laptop already. The assistant physically went through about 12 phone before finding one with it - it wasn't even mentioned in the spec.
I just point the phone at the laptop and press send and then accept on the lappy!
I'm not technical and I can cope.Love living in a village in the country side0
