    Hey hun, i am very jealous that you dont have to go back to work now till sept! how old will pip be then??

    Whats your meals planned till june then?? i need some inspiration, think the family are sick of casserole type dishes that i am making the night before for them.......still need to get my bum in gear really and get myself a slow cooker.......

    hows your "grow your own" coming along now??? I want a plastic greenhouse like your but my fella hates tham and says there a waste of money......want to find a cheap one so he cant moan when it just appears in the garden!!!

    Meal plans
    1) Fish fingers and chips
    2) bacon in tomato and onion sauce with rice
    3) spag bol
    4) sausage casserole
    5) burgers with mash and veggies
    6) roast
    7) cold meat and veggies
    8) meat risotto
    9) baked fish and veggies
    10) baked potatoes with various toppings
    11) pizza evening
    12) ham and pasta bake (ie bit of ham and a pasta bake sauce)
    13) sausages and mash
    14) chops and veggies
    15) beef stew
    16) macaroni cheese
    17) nachos (ie beef sauce with salsa and nachos)
    18) stir fry pork and rice
    19) corn beef hash
    20) fish curry (ie large piece of cod cut up and fried with spices add some veggies and cocunut milk)
    21) pancakes
    22) roast
    23) meat casserole using up the rest of the roast
    24) chicken and vegetable pie

    And of course you can make stock from carcasses, do lentil and bacon soup for lunches, any extra from the pasta and rice dishes can be for lunch at work the next day.

    oh like your meal plans and getting some ideas....i have one for the week but might have to do one till the 1st now as i still havent been to tesco - then i wont have to go next week either :)
    Pipsmum how do you do your hm Quiche?? I hate shop ones so have never thought to do one but went to my friends for lunch an hers was lovely!! so thought i will try one...
