You are doing well with the bread maker!! you havent had it long and already doing loads in it!! well done, ill have to get some ideas from you as ive made..........bread in mine and thats it!!lol
I was thinking about cloth this time...you can get some lovely wraps, but cost a fortune so would have to try and stay away from them ones....... but you do so much washing anyway so might aswell put a extra load in every other day!!! still thinking about it though so will see nearer the time.
Hope the chinese was yummy.
The travel system sounds a good price for £117. I have to admit to going a bit mad and both the girls have had mamas and papas ones at about £400 each....:o but this one will not be getting a posh new one, dd2s is still fine to use for this one but we might have to get a double and before LMB i was looking at the phil and teds but now if i do get one it will be a cheap one or even second hand as dd2 will be just 2 so prob wont need a double for that long......
And do rest it will be a funny xmas day with wondering if your waters are going to break etc. I really didnt want to have a xmas day baby so sat there hoping alllll day and didnt relax till 11.55 as then i knew i wouldnt have a xmas baby..........and as i said before she held on till the 5th jan....hope your baby doesnt wait that long...GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. Just wanted to say good luck on your journey and congratulations!
I'm not a mummy yet, but my sister had her little girl in March and has been making cut backs ever since. I made a hamper for her birth with all the essentials so she would have less to buy.
I work for HMRC, so would recommend that you contact Child Benefit, Tax Credits, Child Trust Fund and Sure Start Maternity Grants as soon as your child is born. If you need the contact numbers, feel free to PM me (that applies to anyone).
Good luck, and let us all know how you get on!
Merry Christmas

Hello everyone.
Thanks again for the tips.
Longforthesun thats a great tip about the gifts. Hope I dont spoil everyones day though witht them worrying about me?
izoomzoom that was a good move to put your income down straight away and save the money. I am not going to be able to do it unfortunately as I am throwing all spare cash at the debts to hopefully get the payments down each month. That should enable me to stay off work longer so its similar to your plan.
blissfullydebtfreewannabee I am definately going to have to give them a call, tried the online calculator thing but as my OH gets an oncall rate some months and doesnt others I wasnt sure what amount to put for his income as it varies. Any idea?
My chinese at my mums was indeed yummy, shame my belly is full of baby so I couldnt eat more!!!
Had a nother NSD today as I havent left the house.
Friends from work popped by for a coffee and a homemade cake. It was really nice to see them and catch up. They bought tonnes of cards from other people at work, oooops I didnt write that many as I was being frugal and thought I wouldnt see half of those people!!
Going to have toad in the hole (still sticking to the menu plan) for tea and watch Muppets Christmas Carol which is my favourite xmas film.
Need to ring my Nan and my Mum so will do that now while its still free!!
Oh and lastly going to set breadmaker going mummy breadmaker is only getting this much use at the minute as I am bored!!!

Hiya im new to the site i have a 5year old and a 4month old both boys
The sleep bags i found in primark for £5 which was quite cheap compared to the one i bought out of adams for over £10 which i wasnt happy about and the primark one was so much nicer and thicker and i used it from about 4 weeks old
I recommend the boots card if u join the mother and baby club you get triple points on certain baby products
I buy pampers nappys from boots in an econmy box for £9.99 for 128 nappys which works out cheaper than buying trhe smaller bags of nappys and just shop around for the offers, since i had the baby in august i have over £20 worth of boots points just from buying my babys bits in there
Hope that s been some help and hope all is well with ur bump0 -
Thanks for that tip Gemz going into town tomorrow (madness I know) so I will pop into Primark and Boots.Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

I would say to try netmums.com for loads of baby stuff that has been outgrown - at least you are buying it direct, face to face - and at a great price - also gives you the chance to meet other mummies as well. Worked for me with my 3 little ones.0
