I am so lucky with the ID thing as my OH actually works at the solicitors (no discount though sadly!) it means he can take my ID in and bring it home by end of day, as you say I would worry about posting it.
I will have to pay the Estate Agents fees which were £1600 and also the solicitors fees which were £1500 so in total it will be a little under £3500.Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

lol - not much of a difference there! that's the sort of difference that raises my blood pressure at work lol
i picked our solicitors as i knew it was somewhere where OH could drive to easily so we don't have to post things.
our estate agents are charging us just under £1k but the solicitors fees including stamp duty (another rip off) is about £3 1/2 k if i remember correctly. Probably a good £700 more than i was expecting. i really should have pushed getting my training contract all those years ago, it would have saved me a fortune now lol0 -
Sorry LT, will be more careful typing next time!
Because I am only selling half the flat its too low for stamp duty, the fees are so high :-(Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

oh
i was just about to get excited on your behalf, i'll have to wait a bit longer before i can start knitting for you. My friend like Next's products and got some lovely lampshades from there which i wouldn't mind but i'll never get anywhere when they're in the sale, didn't even think about it really i'm just so not the typical Next shopper
