Hi everyone, I am back.
We went on holiday to Cornwall and had a nice time except we were all ill. Pip and I had a really bad tummy bug and then he was ill for the entire week, now OH and I both have had some kind of flu bug, awful.
Ive just paid all my bills so here are my totals after paying £377:
Next £460
MBNA £4350
Tesco £2400
Mothercare £590
Egg Loan £3599
= £11,399 :mad::mad::mad:

You've done brilliant with that repayment, don't forget its that horrible thing thats called interest that catches up with us...... they should give us a break for overpaying!! (worth a try!!) xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Totals still going in the right direction though as it's lower than last month so give yourself a break!

Lands back to Earth with a bang when remembers the sorry tale that is car insurance.
OH missed this months car insurance payment (both cars on a multicar policy), didnt realise it hadnt gone out until he checked his emails yesterday after returning from hols. Rings Admiral who now say they want the full remaining £452 to continue the insurance or they are cancelling policy as they have sent "numerous letters and emails". We have had 1 email!!!! They will not budge, OH explained we had been on holiday so were not able to check our bank and they don't believe that we have not received any letters. Waiting on a Manager call back but doubt they will say different. So whilst waiting I did some comparisons and wouldnt you know it, Admiral are the cheapest so they have well and truly got us over a barrel :mad::mad:
Anybody have a spare £400 to loan me???;)
Positive stuff -
OH starts his new job on Monday, its his last day tomorrow, and that will save us about £200 a month on petrol :T:T:T BUT we will be on a tight month as his pay will not be for a full period.
All being poorly on holiday meant we spent much less than I had budgeted for as we ate in the lodge all but 1 night:D:D
Working out of other site next week so will be able to claim £64 of petrol:p:p

Well never did get manager call back from Admiral :mad: so OH rang them this evening and refused to let them go until they transferred him to manager. Manager comes on phone and apologises, says he can see we have never missed a payment and that we have had a policy with them for 2 years so he couldnt see a problem in paying monthly still!! Awful Customer service  but right result in the end :T:T
So tonights cheapy tea for 2 is a stirfry. Stirfry veg mix 76p, LO Bacon (yeah yeah I know but it was going to get chucked out else!:rotfl:) pack 17p noodles and a 55p sachet of sauce. Yum!
I am looking at a few cheap meal blogs, will post later on if there are any good ones.
