Try not to let it ruin the weekend Pips Mum. They must have made a mistake so things will get sorted out, but can't do yet. Promise yourself a phone call to them first thing on Monday and then for the rest of the weekend - let it go and think of your darling little Pip!
MBNA aren't worth wasting stress on!!!

Tried that and they wouldnt accept me as OH couldnt pay for car loan (which is in my name) for a couple of months whilst he had no job in the summer. So my credit rating got a bit screwed.
Interest rate is 2.5% per month, the highest of the lot I pay. Just tried transferring some of the balance to a lower rate (borrowing from Peter to pay Paul but best I can do at the minute) but it said check account number is correct so will have to try and call them tomorrow.
Feel like this at the minute :wall:Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

i 2nd that sue!!!!!!
think martin (mse) suggests doing just that pipsmum on his gmtv stints and on it pays to watch!!!!!December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

thats so bad that they only set your min payment as £6 of the debt being paid of! it would take forever if you was only making min payments! Just think atleast you are paying of extra so it will go down quicker then that, and 2.5% is very lower interest to pay! My abbey one is 19.9% so going to try and hit that first!!!
try not to let it upset you to much, maybe it is a mistake, maybe give then a call and check its the right amount of interest charged.....And it might be getting peter to pay paul (or how ever it goes..) But if it means paying less interest its must be good to swap it....
Hope your ok

I watche celeb BB, really surprised at the amount of "celebs" in there this year.0 -
Mummy I should clarify 2.5% is per month so 27% odd APR!!
I am going to watch "dreg" big brother and not worry about it for today. Tomorrow I shall tweak budget a bit and also call Tesco to transfer some of the MBNA to them.

Hey pip, didn't realise you had a diary, so just popping in to say hi.
That interest rate is very high, i'd definitely give them a call on monday to get it sorted, sounds like an error of some sort. It sounds like a good idea though trying to transfer some of balance to a lower interest rate card, means your paying back less.
I have an mbna card and it makes balance transfers near on impossible on the internet as the mbna card i have, which may similar to yours, only have fifteen numbers where as other cards have sixteen.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Hi Andan!! Strange to seee a post from you with no list !!
I bet only having 15 numbers is the problem, They are very cheeky I bet they have done that on purpose so you cant transfer the balance.
Smarties I met Terry Christian the other week when I went to an opening of a Manchester bowling alley with OHs work. Can I take credit for relaunching his career do you think?Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

was having a preggy brain moment earlier!!lol..... so it is high apr, getting them confused.....:)
I have heard loads of bad things about mbna!! and having high rates and how cheecky them doing that with the numbers - i bet it is so less people bother to sort out the balance transfers!!!
Hope you get some onto your tesco one!! might be worth checking if they will up your limit so you can do a bigger transfer?? My tesco one is my biggest but has a lower rate...GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. Ummmm yes that might be worth a go. Then I could close MBNA all together. It is the highest interest of the lot, wonder if I could spread its total across the others? Something else to sit and work out tomorrow!!Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
