Happy Bonfire Night everybody!!
Be safe whatever you are doing x xHampster - PM is winging its way to you, cant wait to see it.
Im having another "if it werent for these debts grrrrrrrrr" moment!!
I looked on the Ofsted reports for the local schools that Pip would have to go to and could have cried. ALL of them are doing absolutely rubbish and in the nearest 1 they speak 38 different languages!!:eek: I may be boastful mother but he is a bright lad and I think he cant get the attention and motivation he will need to do well with that kind of issue. So we will definately need to move, found a lovely school on outskirts of town centre, not too far out the way just right. Looked at nearby houses and found 1 thats perfect for us, I would move in tomorrow if I could but of course its on market for £199,995
So here is my pledge:
I WILL clear my debts within the next 2 years to enable us to move and give Pip the education he deserves.
Don't read too much into the OFSTED report, it's only a small part of the picture. My eldest daughter went to a school that was well rated by OFSTED but we had to remove her due to severe bullying. We moved her to an inner city school with the 38 languages type profile (nothing to lose was the thinking) she loved it and flourished. She came out with amazing GCSE results as the teachers gave of their free time to help her catch up after losing so much academic ground due to the bullying. Try to visit the schools, the second school my daughter went to allowed prospective parents to sit in on sample lessons and the home-school relationship was first class.0 -
Yes I will second that! My eldest went to the so called best senior school in the area. He was diagnosed with Aspergers and nearly 15 and they refused to help and did not believe the diagnosis! Even when I called the school to speak to the Special Needs Co-Ordinator he kept calling my son by another name and clearly did not even know him! I was told he would leave school with no GCSEs and that he was lazy. I moved him for less than a year and he passed 6 GCSEs and two of them were As and taken early!!
The primary school my two youngest go to has a special unit attached to it as well which in turn pulls down the SATs results of the overrall school as they are taken together even though this unit is separate.0 -

Hi sorry about the early mornings. Glad mine are growing up now, certainly don't miss that bit!! Yay to payday. Are the True Blood books good? I have had some sad news, my great uncle in London passed away on Tuesday. I only saw him two weeks ago when I went to see him and took him out for dinner for his birthday and he looked so well. Shocking news though that he has left me some money, enough to make me debt free, can't get my head around it!!0

Hello All
Sorry i have been rubbish again. Life busy, No money, no debt busting and seemingly no point coming on here to remind myself I am doing rubbish!!
Hampster, I love the pics, i tried replying but I kept getting the mailer demon thingy.
OHs boss has been a right bleep, bleep, bleep and took OH off of being oncall at the weekend + evenings purely so he can get the extra cash. So we are now £400+ a month short.
OH rang all his creditors and they have set up DMPs so i just neeed to make sure he sticks to it now.
I have made the minimums to my loan and CCs, cant manage any more than that what with Chrimbo coming. Most of my shoppings done, just a few odds and slods.
I am sorry and I will try and force myself to come on as I miss you lot x xDebt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
