Your contract is with the retailer. If the retailer represents a feature and that feature is not actually present then you are entitled to return the product and have a full refund or compensation for the cost of putting things right (e.g. buying an accessory from a third party).0

Absolutely correct. I had an instance a few years ago when DABS misrepresented an item. They refused to give me a refund so I got Trading Standards involved who were able to get me my refund.0 -
Good news - I have today received a full refund. When I logged in to check my emails there was an email from Paypal saying that I had an instant payment from the retailer. Unfortunately the retailer didn't have the decency to apologise for the confusion, but MSE has come up trumps again. Thanks so much to Martin and his team, and everyone who posts on this forum.
