  • when i use the mobile link it only gives me rooms for £85! cant find anything cheaper for the dates i need

Are you only booking one date at a time? If you try and do two nights or more the £9 rooms don't come up.

Which dates do you need and where? It might be that all the £9 rooms for your dates have gone. I had to be quite flexible with mine unfortunately.

Just reading my provisional booking.. .states room is for 1 ADULT only.. .albeit they allow you to book a family room. ( for up to 3 adults)

Has anyone any experience of this.... only I would'nt want people to fall foul lof Ts & Cs ( myself included )

I've done this before, and contacted Travelodge. I was told just to phone the actual travelodge a couple of days before to let them know. There wasn't any problem.

If you are trying to book more than one night at a time on the mobile site it will charge you the most expensive price for all nights e.g earlier i was trying to book 4 nights in london and it said 81 per night but if you book individual nights it was 9 for three of the nights but 81 for one of them so check the prices for individual nights first and see which dates are cheapest

    Hope that makes sense

    That's it - I give up.

Had one of the rooms I wanted on the mobile site - three times I got to hitting the 'confirm' button after entering card details, and three times it bounced me out - now there are only £50+ rooms in that area.:(

keep trying, the prices change depending on availability. if you are logging out and then back in again, the rooms you selected previously will still be on hold (i think you have something like 15mins to checkout), so the prices will have gone up to reflect the fact they are popular. give it a while and you may find they come back down, as people havent completed the transaction

  • Well, took four hours or so but finally sorted!!

Got 2 nights London Liverpool Street
3 nights Great Yarmouth area (had to pay £19 for one of these)
    1 night Cambridge

All in summer hols so really pleased as probably wouldnt be going anywhere otherwise.

As been said above, only got the good prices when I added one night at a time to my basket.

    Keep trying !!!!!

    FAQ

How do I book more than one Saver/Sale room?

Saver / Sale rooms can only be booked one night at a time. When you have located the room you want, simply add it to your basket. You can then select the option to return to the search results or start a new search using the orange Saver search panel.

I've booked two nights for all mine (except Blackpool and that was my own fault for not getting the dates right).

Just to add a bit of lighthearted relief for those of you who are having nightmares in getting bookings.

A guy at work was going to a stag do in Hungerford. He left it to his friend to make the accommodation arrangements, and his friend booked a Travelodge on the M4. Very reasonable rate - think it was £29 per night.

Unfortunately, as they were going out drinking and wouldn't be driving, it cost them £40 each way for a taxi to take them to their destinations, thereby making their bargain weekend away a bit more pricey than they'd thought!!

Some good London deals eg. Battersea w/c sat 8 Aug-7 nights at only £9 per night. £63 for a weeks London accomodation for a family of 4! or Kings Cross Royal Scot Sun 23rd August for 6 nights £54. A good few weekends still available too at either £9 or £19 per night even the August Bank Holiday (though most of the £9 rooms are for the Bank hol Sunday and Monday).
