  • If you particularly want a certain date, if you go through the normal find a hotel tab, not the sale one, then you can book more than one night at a time - they also how the £9 a night if available. Having only one invoice, means only one lot of cancellation insurance at £1. I booked two nights in Torquay in July by using this method.

I have bought seperate nights on a previous occasion, when the nights were different prices. I hoped we didn't have to check out & check in again, but the hotel reassured me that this happens all the time, and we could keep the room for out whole stay.

  • The mobile site is much much easier and quicker so I would advise everyone to try that. Just make sure you know which hotel you want to stay in.

I didnt have any trouble getting on the site at all and when I was on I was able to bounce back and forth trying different dates and different hotels until I found something I wanted.

City Road was opened just over a year ago. We stayed at the front and it was very noisy, as there is a bus stop for the night buses just outside. We tried to get a room at the back but couldn't. OK for £9 but take earplugs. From what I can remember it's less than 5 mins to a tube station, but we used buses mainly.
