Oh, and a word of warning. I was all prepared with credit card at the ready, and then had to have a mad dash to get the debit card, as they seem to charge £1.50 extra for credit card bookings.

Your risking your booking over £1.50 ?

Im all sorted Blackpool for £19 and Leeds Bradford airport for £9. Just had to keep refreshing.

Well...... i've just gone on the Mobile site and booked my needs in July.
It's the full price though of £60 per night so that's £240 for me on Flexible Rate..

But I will still try to get the Saver Room though and the just cancel the Flexible one.

    I panicked, ok :rotfl::rotfl:

I was so giddy at getting to the point of being able to book that all reason went out of the window :rotfl:

Now back to being frustrated at getting halfway through a search or booking and getting that ruddy server busy notice.#

I have a veritable pack of cards at the ready now, just in case :D

p.s. I've stayed at the Leeds Bradford one, and just in case you're not aware, you have to pay for parking at that hotel.
  • Anyone know why London Southwark is not listed on mobile site? Does it have another name????

Could have tried a debit card. Not like it's a huge drain on the immediate finances.

Last time people got rooms going via the moible site.

    I think the URL is

    www.travelodge.com/mobile

    NO!
    it's www.travelodge.co.uk/mobile
the .com address is worldwide and very long winded for a UK booking
  • yippeee, after 1 h 38 m, I finally have my room booked! That was far too difficult, they need to sort out a queue like ticketmaster, and make sure that once you are in you dont get booted out.
Oh well - Im going back to bed!
