Has anyone managed to get on and make a booking since about 6.30 am?

Yes, booked at 7.00 using the mobile site

are family rooms included - otherwise I'd need 2 rooms to accomodate

    Family rooms are included

I just had 2 x family rooms for £9 per room and it kicked me off. I bet I don't get them for £9 when I eventually get back on.

Well done but I meant using the regular site.

I already posted to say I don't really want to risk using the mobile site again as you can't do amendments or see your booking in your "My Travelodge" page.

Well, finally made a (really fast, actually, once I'd got on) booking for May. Can't get back on to get any more though. Back to server busy notice.

    Will keep trying.

Booked again on the mobile site 2 minutes ago. I don't see what the issue is, you get an email and confirmation number. You cannot amend the booking as it is a saver sale tariff anyway.
  • Booked London Tower Bridge for 28 July-1 Aug for £9 at 6.50am, can't get on main site since. Am trying on the mobile site, but it doesn't include all hotels - doesn't have Tower Bridge or Southwark, grr.

Oh, and a word of warning. I was all prepared with credit card at the ready, and then had to have a mad dash to get the debit card, as they seem to charge £1.50 extra for credit card bookings.

Personal preference I guess. I like to be able to see my bookings online and also add things like breakfast and Wifi - you can't do that on the mobile site.

I had to phone to double check the booking I did last time which was also a bit of a pain.

I also think rather than have that loophole open, Travelodge should just have their proper site working for more of us at peak times. Not a lot to ask I suppose.
  • I am going to try the mobile site. Do the £9 offers still come up as Ive just looked for a room at covent garden for the nights i want (end of May) and its coming in a £99 a night!!!!!
