Sun £9.50 holidays

Hi,
We are currently trying to complete our form for the £9.50 holiday, just wondering if anyone could recommend some locations/Parks.....this is our first Sun holiday...

What we are looking for:
- Facilities to entertain a 3 year old and 5 year old
- Least amount of surchages
- Not sure about anything else, our first time?!?!

My wife is having our 3rd child (and last :eek: ) on 16th Feb, so we will have a newborn aswell. We are really just looking a relaxing break with something to entertain the two monsters so we can have some piece.

Any info greatly appreciated.

We went on a Sun holiday last year. It wasnt brilliant, but was ok for what we paid. We had a priority booking form this year but didnt act on it cause we couldnt see if any of the locations accepted dogs. Last year wasnt a problem but we had our pup 4 months ago. Does anyone know if you can take dogs on these holidays?

Can anyone tell me which of the sites is nearest Legoland in Windsor? I want to combine the holiday with my tesco free legoland tickets.

I hadn't even thought of applying for one of these holidays but my Grandma had been collecting the tokens and sent them through for us on Saturday....fingers crossed that we'll get somewhere in March before Hubby Deploys for 5 months.

Do you think we have a chance?

nope not yet, just checked my bank and the money hasn't come out of my bank yet either. I sent mine on the day i collected the last voucher (which was 1 day b4 a lot of ppl as i had the priority application form)

We have been to the South of France for the last 3 Spring Bank Holiday weeks.

An amazing way to get decent weather. You can usually get really good deals on ferry prices too.

Yes, we got our booking confirmation on Saturday for one of the Park Resorts on the Isle of Wight. The cheque cleared the bank account last week.

We had a priority application and it was in the post as soon as it could have been posted (about 9am Saturday, when the 6th token was out).

The booking confirmations come direct from the Parks themselves (or the parent company) rather than The Sun, so some could be more efficient than others.

Haven't had my confirmation in the post yet but my cheque to The Sun cleared out of my account yesterday so look forward to hearing any day! My application was posted with a priority form but on the Sunday post.
