The new V3X is available now on 3 and vodaphone.

Videos and pictures look great on the large, bright colour screen

Update on my V3 from OSPS Orange OVP Voda Anytime 100, it arrived today, I noticed the box and phone were not badged orange and came with an earbud type hands free, and a USB data cable in the box.
Cons:
So I have no 7 day return with pre-paid recorded delivery.
No rebate vouchers included, you have 7 day to report this to OSPS
Pros:
The phone is unlocked and unbranded which is nice.Seth.0 -

So firstly, who can confirm that this is actually a decent phone? I'm not bothered about fancy features, as long as it makes calls and looks pretty cool!
Thanks in advance!
I have this phone and it's appalling!
I too was drawn to it cos it looked fab. Unfortunately that's all it's got in its favour! Mine went wrong less than six months after I got it. It was sent back to the manufacturers who confirmed that the model is actually faulty [hence the new and 'improved' V3X I imagine] and is destined to go wrong. [My brother's V3 did exactly the same thing!!]
Faults included being unable to exit the camera and resorting to taking the battery out the back just to turn the phone off [!!!]; the phone 'deciding' to go online and once again being uable to be turned off without removing the battery; the games causing system freezes with the only way of turning the phone off being to... remove the battery!!!
And just a few months after having it repaired, it's gone wrong again... Thankfully my contract is now up and next month I am changing tarriff, network and – there is a God after all – PHONE!!!
Without a doubt the worst £150 I've ever spent!!!
DON'T DO IT [or don't say you weren't warned!!!]
BIf I don't respond to your posts, it's probably because you're on my 'Ignore' list.0 -
I bought a o2 v3 from argos before xmas for 99quid. 10mins research on the net and i flashed it to add video recorder, address search and all the other features as well as unlocking it. Stuck my orange sim in it and away we go.
Ive been a life long nokia fan, so this is my first non nokia phone ive ever had. Ive always thought motorolas were pretty rubbish from my first experiences with them, but i have been very pleased & supprised with the v3. Its easy to use, solid, slim, has mp3 player in it as standard and a reasonable camera. Its main faults are lack of memory and it hasnt really got an operating system like the nokia 7610 i had before this. The nokia 7610 and other symbian phones are more like mini pda`s, but then they are more bulky than the v3 - which in all fairness is an old phone now.
All in all, for 99quid you cant go wrong for a sim free phone. As a result nearly everyone i know also now has a v3!0
