We went food shopping yesterday and managed to do it quite cheaply so that was good. Also didn't spend any money today yay.
I am trying to persuade OH to go to New York. I have been before but would love to go again but he has never been. Only thing is we want to go in Nov so we can do Christmas shopping so would mean we wouldnt have much time to save. Quite tempted to get a 0% card so we can do it and then try and pay off as quick as possible..hmmm.0 -
I am thinking against the New York thing now just so we can do some saving this year. Also hoping myabe OH might get the hint and buy me a certain jewellary item... and he can't do that with no money hehe.0

Well I have had a fun couple of days. Last night my work friend and I went for dinner at Zizzi's, we had a bit of confusion with the voucher, we thought it was 2 main courses for £10 but was two courses for £10 so ended up spending more than we thought but never mind. Then we went to see the Saturdays at a thing in a club in London organised by Heart, I won tickets through work. It was free drink which i wasn't expecting so that saved us money. It was a really fun night though and we had a good dance as well after the saturdays.
Today we were doing brainstorming at the google offices. They are so cool, they have an amazing canteen with so many different types of food/pudding and is all free. They also are allowed to take their dogs to work. Was something a bit interesting to do though and nice to get out the office.
I haven't got too much money left but no plans really in next week so should be fine.0 -
Hey hun,
They can take there dogs to work! :rotfl:mine would cause mayhem in the office!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
I have been down cat sitting for my Mum and Dad. Went to see my friend and her baby yesterday and got a nice cuddle without him crying yay. Then OH and I washed the car and hoovered inside etc so is looking very nice now. Have been letting OH have a few more turns driving as well so he is getting well practiced.
We stayed in last night and got a chinese from sainsburys and i bought the proposal on dvd.
I found a bag I liked in the sale on Asos. Is a black leather bag and was reduced from £70 to £34 then they had another £4 off so i ordered it , will have to pay for it out of next months pay though.0 -
Not much to report really. Have £8 to last me till payday Thurs but the food shopping etc has been done so will be fine.
Just been sorting out finances for next month and shouldn't be too bad of a month but you never know what will happen.
Hope you have all had a good day.0 -
My new bag came today, is really nice and all leather so a bit of a bargain for £30.
Bought a diet coke and some chocolate (can see where all my money goes!) so have about 6 quid left now till payday Thurs.0 -
Well it has been payday yay! Lots of money has gone out for various things already and had a meal out last night and had to buy a tank of petrol so is going quick but should be Ok.
The sofa people are meant to be letting us pay off the sofas some time before the end of a year after we purchased but they decided to take some money from me already! I had to ring up and complain and apparently they had not out the form through properly so might have to go sign a new one. Never mind they should be sorting it all out and get a refund for that payment.
Yesterday as I said I went for a meal for my friends birthday. We went to Winchester which was nice for a change to Dim T which is a really nice asian restaurant. I had some dim sum, some crispy duck and a few glasses of wine. Then we went and had a cocktail after which was very nice.0 -
Well haven't wrote on here for a while, been very busy and not been doing good money wise.
Been a bit of a spendy month but I am not sure what on exactly, think I might start a spending diary again next month as seems to help you realise what rubbish you spend your money on.
Has been quite a fun week though as we had our work party Wed, which was a school disco theme. We paid a tenner to charity and we got five drinks, plus free food etc so was a cheap night out really. Then last night we went to the next top model party, which is the one i took part on last year. Was at Kensignton Roof Gardens which is a lovely club , has a lovely outdoor area. That was all free drink and food again although there wasn't much food so ended up buying a Burger King oops.
My friend is coming to stay this weekend, she is pretty skint too so we are just going to have a quiet one. Maybe go out for dinner tomorrow.0 -
Still not doing very well moneywise, hardly have anything left to last till payday. I am going to have to eat into next months pay a bit which is not good. Next month is going to be an expensive month as well as have got hair appointment booked plus a wedding to go to... It is also two of my best friends birthdays and my sisters. It is going to be a long month as well between paydays.
I am going to start the spending diary like i said and really try not to spend money on things like my lunches and snacks and diet cokes as all adds up a lot.
I hope you have all had a good weekend. Mine has been nice. My friend came down and we went on a little shopping trip (probably not best idea). I got a couple of pairs of ballet pumps which to be fair I did need as mine are falling apart and I wear them to work. They were also both reduced so not too expensive. We went out for dinner last night and OH paid which was nice and also helps me out a bit.0
