Ahh don't worry Haylez, I know what it is like with OH working shifts hehe. I have popped them on ebay now. Not too worried about making a profit, just want to make something for them.
Hope you like the pics of Ollie Maria, saw you had commented hehe.
I have had another busy day at work and then we went to Asda. Think I have managed to end the month without going into my OD or anything at all which is good. 2 days till payday!
Work have asked me to go back to my old uni and do a presentation to try and get people to apply for jobs which is good. Will be nice to see my old lecturers, and get a day out of work too.0 -
Hi Wendz,
Just popping in. How lovely that you get to go back to your old uni and see everyone again. I bet they'll be really proud of you and how far you've come. What did you study when you were there?
Well done on getting to the end of month without going into overdraft too. :TYou're doing great!Money paid out from Topcashback so far= £105.89 :j

Well payday was Thursday yay! Have just been working out all the accounts and not looking too brilliant moneywise this month, always seems to be the way. Am paying for my glasses out of this months pay as my credit card bill comes out so that is a big one.
I should be able to get through fine though. Things that are going to cost this month are : dinner out tonight, Dads birthday, Mothers day and baby present for my friend when he finally arrives. The second half of the month will probably be a time to spend as little as possible.
The good thing is my loan to my dad is now sub £1500 so that is great to see. Only 5 more pay days or less and that will all be paid off.
OH has been absolutely lovely and has offered to pay for me so we can go on holiday together. We have both booked two weeks in June off and hopefully we are going with his friend and his gf which would be realy good. We haven't decided where to go yet but we are thinking Egypt. Is really exciting though, I haven't been on holiday for two weeks for years either!
My friend is down this weekend so we are going to Westfield today and then we are going out for dinner tonight with a coupe of other friends from uni so should be a really nice day. Hope you all have great weekends.0 -
Sounds like you've been sensible and budgeted for the month so hopefully your money will last.
Holiday to Eygpt wow! That's really exciting!
Glasses are sooo expensive aren't they

You will do it Wendz, your always really good with money. Budgeting is great and now you know how much you can spend between now and the end of the month.
That's lovely of your OH, you deserve a nice long break away. Egypt is great, OH and I went for a week with friends in 2007 and it was a great holiday. We went in August time and it was boiling, about 45 degrees everyday, and I'm not kidding. You can get some great deals too, we paid £2,00 for the 4 of us.
Have fun at Westfield, not been there in a ages! Have a great evening too!The very best things in life ... are free!

Well the weekend was expensive but fun. Yetserday we went shopping at Westfield. I got some new jeans from New Look as my others are getting a bit tatty. I also got a couple of bras and pairs of knickers from m and s which I used my vouchers I get from my credit card towards. I also got a leopard cardy from Zara which I got with my Christmas voucher. At least I managed to use vouhers towards a lot of it.
Then yesterday evening we went out dinner and I had a couple of cocktails too which was nice. Was nice to catch up with the girls. Was a nightmare though as the central line which I live near was closed so was a bit of a mission to get there and back. My feet killed too as I wore heals and never do these days.
This afternoon I have done my online exam for the work certificate I am doing. I am waiting to hear my results for the actual exam I did in Jan. Not sure when I am getting them.
Hope everyone is enjoying Sunday.0 -
I hope your exam went well and you get tops marks!
