  • I hope your boss let you go early chick, are you working tomorrow?

I didn't realise you lived right near Westfields, that must be hard to keep away.

Last month you mentioned you went to a restaurant for your sisters b-day, do you remember the name of the restaurant? Its my OH's birthday in February and i would like to surprise him and take him there as its somewhere he really wanted to take me but we didn't get the time to go before holiday.

    Cheers hun x

The bosses weren't in so we went at 4, they said we were find to leave early if we came in anyway. Was a knackering day, not in tomorrow thankfully.

Yeah live about 2 stops down on the tube, it is very tempting especially as i go past on the tube every day.

Was the restuarant Gauchos Haylez? That is where we went for my sisters birthday.

I have wrote another review tonight, am on over 45,000 points now. I reckon another three reviews should do it. My friend is coming over lunch time ish tomorrow so need to make sure I get up and do one. We are planning on going for a couple of drinks somewhere for New Year. We want to see the fireworks in central London but OH reckons will be mentally busy. He isn't working so late now so might be coming too yay!
  • Thats the one Wendz, thank you. I couldn't remember the name of it. Just looked on the website and didn't realise it was so expensive, including a bottle of wine it would cost about £150 for two. Hmmm, i was going to treat him to dinner and then a night in London in a Hilton hotel, may have to change my plans now lol.

Fireworks in London sounds good, if i lived in London and not Kent i'd love to go, but the travelling puts me off as we'd have to drive in, nightmare! If you do go have fun chick, wrap up warm and it will be a fabulous new year. Its great that your OH is going to be there now too.

I would love to see the fireworks in london for new years, one year i will book a hotel for new years eve and watch them. Like you said i can imagine when the fireworks end there would be crowds of people all trying to get home at the same time.

Yeah it is quite expensive , we only spent about 120 between four of us when we went but we only had main courses as we were in a bit of a rush.

OH might not be coming out tonight now as he wants to go home (southampton) where all his mates are going out. We will see what he does.

I have got the landlord and builder in the flat retling the bathroom. We have had leak problems with the washing machine so they had to take all the tiles up to dry it out. Need to go to the doctors in a minute downstairs as they have a parcel, is hopefully our new duvet.

Happy New Year everyone. I had a really good night last night which is surprising, think it is because I didn't really have any expectations. My friend came down and we had a few drinks at mine, then we headed over to trafalgar square way, had a drink in a pub and another in a bar and then we went and met up with some friends of my friend who were also in London. We were all in a bar and then rushed out about ten to twelve to try and see the fireworks on the screen by Trafalgar Square. Unfortunately there was a lot of people there and a big building in our way but was still a really great atmosphere. Then afterwards we went back to the bar and another if my friends little sister and her mate came and met us which was really nice. I don't feel too fab this morning but had a good night so that is what matters.

Anyway has been a good start to the year. My payment to my Dad has gone out so I now owe less than £1000 yay! I also managed to withdraw from scratchies.

  • I thought I'd just pop in to have a look at your diary after you posted on mine. Welldone on paying your overdraft off last year (you're right it does sound odd saying that!), I'm hoping I can do the same in 2010.

Whilst I have been pretty focussed on wanting to save money, I've noticed that you have made a habit of making money and so have decided to have a go at this myself too.

Would you mind telling me what websites you use for these scratchie things (sorry I'm not really sure what they are!) and the bingo sites that you use? I'd like to have a go myself as long as it won't cost me anything!

Anyways, I'm going to subscribe to your thread as inspiration,

    Happy New Year!
