Hehe I seem to be doing Ok this month money wise....so far. Trying to be good next couple of weeks as I have a friends birthday near the end of the month which I will need money for.
We went to asda tonight and managed to be quite good, so good start to the week.0 -
We do a similar thing, money is always rounded to the nearest £ and then added to a saver.

Yeah exactly, if there is something wrong with it, I know that would annoy me! I think we are just going to have to take it slow and wait till we find something we really want. There is no rush to get out of our flat unless my sister moves out and even then we have to give two months notice. We are in a fine location now for OH to get to work and me , so all good at the moment.
I am trying to budget myself this week and next so might use this as a bit of a spending diary as well. So far this week have spent 14 pounds towards food shop. I want to keep my spends this week under 50 pounds.0 -
Well unfortunately today won't ba no spending day as have just got a bottle of diet coke. Was on the two for 1.60 deal which i shared with someone else but is spending i could really do without.0

Been having a think and chat about the whole house/flat thing and think we have now decided we are going to rent for a couple of years and try and save us much as possible to try and find a house when we are sure about where we want to live etc. Have found some nice flats that we could rent for a reasonable amount. We have ti give two months notice on our current flat but we are waiting really for my sister to find somewhere as she wanst to move to South London, otherwise we could all stay in this flat.
Feeling positive anyway about it all and am going to try and do my best to get rid of the debt so we can start saving.0 -
Regardless of what it says in your contract, legally you only have to give one months notice to move. Notice must be given on or before a rent day and is 30 days from rent day.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I haven't had a great day spending wise, bought a jacket potato for lunch and chippy for dinner. 6 quid altogether that i could have avoided. Also forgot I am out for someones leaving drinks tomorrow so might need to buy dinner then. Never mind!
Just managed to redeem for another 5 pounds on BP. when i get my toluna voucher will only need 25 more for the wii fit.
I am going to try and do a review tonight, havent done one for a few days0 -
Morning,
Got a five pounds amazon voucher this morning from Bingoport, so not got 25 towards wii fit. Only need another 35. Got ten pounds due form toluna but usually takes quite a few weeks.
Also have done a couple of GTM surveys, haven't had any of those for ages. I am edging up on one poll too, nearly on 35 pounds now.
I have a few things I need to do today so will write them down to remember:
- ring up virgin to sort out internet that is not working
- ring up and book hair appointment as my roots are not looking good
- Check out finances0 -
Actually done my list this lunchtime! The internet is down in my area but is getting sorter. I am at work now in case you are wondering how I'm online.
Hair is all booked. Going to cost a fair bit as having cut and highlights but at least this month I actually have the money. Been checking finances and still looking fairly healthy. I took some money out which I am going to try and survuve on the rest of the week. Only got drinks tonight and might need money sat night for the concert I'm going to.0
