Managed to not spend too much last night bought a couple of cocktails for me and friend and a mcdonalds. Went to someones leaving do and one of the managers bought us a drink too and then i went home before too late. Means I have 15 pounds left of my budget for the weekend. We are going to see neyo tomorrow night and have paid for tickets and travels all sorted with travel card, although will be a nightmare to get there and back. Last bit of money can go on any drinks we but. Going to try and have dinner before we go.

I got a free cd at work yetserday, is going for a tenner on amazon so might put it on and sell it.

Well the weekly budget went a little out the window as we just went to westfield and I spent 30 quid in MAC on foundation and concealer. At least that was all I bought though.

We have found out OH gets paid from this month although he will get emergency taxed. It does mean that he is going to be paying a bigger proportion of the rent from the begining of next month so I have decided I am going to up the payments to my dad. The quicker I pay him off the quicker I can start saving.

    Hi Wendz,

I see you post on the 'I want it Now' thread so wanted to stop by your diary and say hi :hello:

I have had a little read of your diary and you are doing really well :T

A big well done for only buying MAC makeup when we went to Westfields. My OH and I went there just after Christmas and its really hard resisting buying things when your there as there are so many wonderful shops there, i could end up spending a fortune if i had a credit card, lucky i do not :D

Well done on your OH for getting into the police. I'm guessing he's in the Met? My OH joined the Met when he was 18, he's now 26 and based in SE London and working for a gangs unit in CID. Your OH is going to love the job. How's his training going?

Anyway, i will stop talking now :D. Take care...

    xx

    Hi,

Thanks for taking time to post on my diary!

Shopping is a nightmare for me but I am trying to only spend when I know I can.

Yep OH has joined the MET, done 2 weeks of training. Is going well but he is knackered already! That sounds like an exciting job your OH has, I am sure it is very hard work though. Nice to know that he will enjoy it!

I am going to pop over to your diary in a sec and have a read x

    Update on things.

Went to Neyo last night, had a good time, took us ages to get there as central line stopped for about 20 mins and then was sever delays so we got off and took another route which was a long winded way to get there. Jubilee line wasn't running so had to get DLR and then a boat over to the O2. That was quite exciting though! We got there on time and getting back wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. Actual concert was good, not the best I have ever been to but I only really know his famous songs so didn't know half the ones he sang. I spent some money on food and drinks which was of course over priced but never mind.

Just had a look at finances and taken into consideration that I need petrol next week and getting my hair done. Still looking Ok but going to try and be a lot more careful now.

I wish i was like that Wendz, I spend regardless if i have the money or not, not good!

My OH found the first few weeks so hard he considered leaving, but he stuck at it and he's so happy he did. It's his dream job since he was small. Do they still do their training at Henden? or is it spread out now between all the small training centres in London. My OH was at Henden for 3 months when he joined, and was just allowed home at weekends.

I didn't reliase Ne*yo was in concert at the O2 - would have loved to have gone, do you know if he's doing anymore concerts there? I'm glad you had a good evening, sounded like an exciting trip getting there, tube, train, boat!

It is still at Hendon, some of them go to other straining centres after 5 weeks but OH is staying at Henden as he is going to be stationed in Brent so that is one of the areas Hendon does the training for. OH said they don't have anyone residential actually at hendon now. They use the flats as locker rooms now apparently. Some people have been put in flats together who needed residential, near Hendon I think.

It was the only concert he was doing there. He is only doing about 6 in total I think around the country. Sure he will come back round again. I saw him supporting the !!!!!cat dolls earlier this year which made me want to go see him again. He is a good performer.

I have also done a couple of surveys. Mainly have been watching sex and the city boxset again. Nice to have a relaxing day but getting a little bored now.

Well at least you have been productive. I have managed some washing and cleaned kitchen floor, so not totally un productive. Just feel like I have been eating and laying around most the day.

Just making beans on toast for dinner, nearly ended up going up shop again but managed to settle on that.
